The majority of fans wont be there if we go down though or go into admin. It'll just be us fools in love expected to pick up the pieces.

As far as I'm concerned Tan can stick his red scarf, with a red bird on it, right where the sun don't shine but sadly last night demonstrated beyond all doubt that the vast majority of fans accept the colour change.

Time to move on.

The ignorance of Cardiff City fans is so blatant these days. How can anyone say its only a fecking colour. Ignorance at its highest.

You would take conference football just to see cardiff back in blue go & have a look at FC United who were formed in protest against the malaysians they r in some south conference league semi pro team i know 4 a fact you anti-red lot will go to the first few games maybe a few thousand of you then you'll realise what a load of shit it is & you'll be back down Cardiff City stadium watching us in the premier league

So you're telling me that everything else last night was totally normal?

It wasn't..

Re: " WE HAD A CHOICE TONIGHT "

Wed Feb 20, 2013 8:33 am

This whole thing with us fans arguing... I'm tired of it. I'm fed up of Cardiff supporters kicking off with Cardiff supporters.

I feel very deflated this morning. I didn't accept a red scarf because it's a clear attempt at Vincent Tan manipulating our support to back his case to push on with the red re-brand. After last night, all he has to do now is say "well, look at how many people wore the red scarf".

If you are fine with the re-brand and have no problem with that then all the power to you. However, if you honestly believe it was a generous innocent gift from Tan then you clearly are a very naive individual.

I've never slagged people off for being pro-red or pro-blue. Personally, I am pro-blue but provided we have a club to support, I can tolerate the red kit. I won't tolerate a change of name, location or removal of the Bluebirds logo from the badge.

I honestly thought last night was going to be the moment when us fans showed how much we wanted blue back. Maybe us pro-blue supporters are in the minority? We were in the minority supporting us in League Two after all.

I am disillusioned. Not only because of what I saw last night but because now it seems I totally misjudged the general fan base's opinion on it. Will I get a season ticket for next season? Unless the club changes the location, club name or removes the bluebird from the badge then yes. That doesn't mean I can't hate what the owners are doing with the club. I'll still support the players. I just feel so disillusioned though.

Few snide marks from fans wearing the red scarves as a few of us didn't take a scarf as we walked in.

Which means without them we would have had 8k. Every club strives to get the next generation coming through the turnstiles.

That was the knockout blow. There will never be a compromise.

Grateful for him saving us and giving us a team to be proud of for once but that was a shock to the system last night.

It hasnt been so bad adapting to the team playing in red. Theres two teams out there, you know which players are yours and you get behind them.

The sea of red though was horrible. Felt was somewherelse.

Fed up of people blaming it just on newbies though as I seen plenty of fans from the dungeon years lapping it up.

And when all is said and done if the malayasians didnt step in be could be doing a Pompey or worse and I wouldnt want thst for my beloved City either.

Very confused at the minute.

The rinsing of the club was bad enough, but this added to the spurious political activities of Tan means enough is enough. To see the red scarves worn with glee by the Man Ure and Liverpoo jonny come latelys has turned my stomach.

I tried to go balls deep but the patheticness of the fans and the people of Cardiff means I can no longer IDENTIFY WITH THEM OR THE CLUB.

I always thought we had our issues but were ultimately solid in our priciples and solidarity. That is clearly not the case.

So basically **** them all and **** all the Reds...reluctant my arse. You are sellout scum pure and simple, even knowing of the human rights abuses you still adore Tan. I hope you all get what you deserve and I'll be back when we change back to blue and you ****s have ****ed off back to being plastic scousers."

What, all the very small minority of you? Get with the bigger picture, the majority of fans are happy with it,, there is no problem

And if we were not top or not doing so well??.....hmmmmm

I'd still be there, and for all you know so could many of what everyone is referring to as the "new supporter". new people have been won over by the city, who knows, they could well still be here for a long time. Whether we are doing well or badly. Look at some of the crowds we got with Rick Wright... look at some of the crowd Leeds and Man City got in League 1. There's no reason to say that after a spell of relative success we could also do the same, 10th biggest city in the UK after all!!!
