If Swansea are the welsh Wigan then surely Cardiff are the welsh Peterborough? :D

What so swansea aren't in the top 7, one game away from European competition, sold out every home game for nearly 3 seasons straight and on the verge of a major trophy then?

My mistake, as you were....

Where did I state you were wrong on any of those statements? Nowhere. I just said you ain't fooling anyone. There you go letting your wild and vivid imagination run away with you.

Well if my statements are correct then there's no fooling needed.

It was more in reference to your identity.

What has my identity got to do with anything?

Swansea have only sold out for 1 and a half seasons, not 3. Only a Jack would exaggerate like that.

It's nearly 2 actually as they sold out for forest at the end of the 2010/2011 season.

How many have Wigan sold out for?

Yep, let's not cloud the issue and let the misrepresentation of facts get in the way of a good point

Re: TO THE IMMATURE JACKS

Sun Feb 17, 2013 11:20 am

No misinterpretation as both stats equate to the same point. Whether its 2 year consecutive home sell outs or 3 the same point is made.

The consecutive home sell outs span 3 seasons from the end of 2010/11, all of 2011/2012 and all of 2012/13 to date.

Either way you look at it, the point remains.

The analogy between Swansea and Wigan is based on more than just attendances anyway.
They both play a similar style of football, are over shadowed by bigger neighbouring cities and are primarily more associated with being rugby areas.
:D

Wigan don't play a similar style of football to Swansea for starters, I've never heard anyone compare., secondly who the hell are Swansea over shadowed by?! Go outside Cardiff and ask a randomer to name a welsh club, the overwhelming majority would be swansea. Swansea are beamed weekly to nearly every country in the world. As for being associated with a rugby area, I've only heard this from Cardiff fans. Newport and the Blues have the same sort of draw the Ospreys do.

Only calling it as i see it and all facts are indisputable. Especially that Cardiff City is a bigger City than Swansea and so it will always be in its shadow. Similar to Wigan which is dwarfed by the big cities of the North.

But they just have been disputed? If you think Wigan play the same way as Swansea then you are an idiot quite simply.

Sorry what i meant to say was disputed by someone who has any standing or credibility by choosing to not hide their identity by changing their sign on every couple of weeks.

You don't need any of them to realise Wigan and Swansea have completely differing playing styles. It's basic stuff,

Re: TO THE IMMATURE JACKS

Sun Feb 17, 2013 12:00 pm

Well chew on these facts.
1) The Welsh capital is shortly to be represented in the Premier League.
2) Cardiff City will always get bigger crowds than any other Welsh club when playing in the same league and most likely even when not.
3) Swansea fans suffer from little brother syndrome wherever Cardiff are concerned.
4) Swansea will always play second fiddle to Cardiff as a City.

1) correct. Not sure of the relevance though, I'm sure man united don't care that west ham got promoted being the Capital of England and all.

2) stupid hypothetical nonsense.

3) likewise.

4) probably true. As will Manchester and Liverpool to London. Still don't see united fans crying over Leyton orient.
