If the Anti red fans hated the rebrand that much they wouldnt turn up to games tbh

I don't believe anyone thinks they are being forced to take one Carwyn but the club are cleverly trying to make it look a red stadium.

And have you ever thought that many people support the team and don't want to walk away from the team.

My opinion is if fans are not happy with the rebrand and hate it that much then why pay the person that made the changes?
I understand some wont walk away from supporting the team but will these people be still moaning if we are still in red in say 20 years time?

Not sure Jinks.

Do you think though that maybe the scarf idea could have been timed better ?[/quot
No time would be right for VT to give anything red away, of course he wants the stadium to look red and why shouldn't he with the amount of money he is putting into the club. At the end of the day we all want to stay BLUE but that is not going to happen with VT at the helm, myself i'm just enjoying the ride at the moment and if VT wants to give red scarves away i will say thank you very much, that will keep me warm in work on cold day

The red scarves with white lettering ' CARDIFF CITY FIRE AND PASSION' have the current badge on either end.

25,000 of these were shipped from Turkey.

The Brighton home game is just days before Vincent Tan's 61st birthday and he is apparently giving these away as a present to the fans.

Maybe we should all sing Happy Birthday

I hope everyone throws the scarves on the pitch and everyone chants "Vincent Tan is a wanker, is a wanker", but unfortunately that won't happen

But there's to many men on here who act like 6 year olds! We never going to go back blue, so we may as well move forward!
It's the dinosaurs now stopping the club moving on!

And there's no point us playing in red and having a blue stadium, I think the club got a great idea!

Back to blue when VT sells in 12 months time :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

Of course it wont happen because most of the fans realise that without Vincent Tan we would be in the same position as Oscar Pistorius

Fantastic post.
Amazing how people can forget some things so quickly.
I firmly believe that we would be SCREWED if it wasn't for TG and VT.

I heard about the rebrand, I then seen it for what it was, I then accepted it,

I bought my scarf back in the summer because I collect them mostly (love my FA and Carling Cup) scarfs and since then i have really enjoyed the football that Cardiff City have Produced.

For me life's to short to be bickering over a colour of a shirt, if there would have been a mass uproar protest I may have joined in, but there wasn't so that tells me apart from a few squeaky wheels most fans have just got on with it.

Come on City 3 Points Tomorrow and make my Day.

The sooner everyone realises that RED is here to stay while MR TAN ploughs his money into our club
the better, if your not happy then travel 40 miles down the road to that other club .
We would all love to see us back in blue ,but the truth is we have to change with the times.
roll on the Premiership in red and not the conference in blue

This is the attitude I hate in some Cardiff City fans. "Premier League or nothing" type of fans.

Well it doesn't matter if we were talking Pre-Tan or right now. The levels of debt we had/have mean that our strategy has to be premiership at all costs, its the only possible way to service our debts. Lots of fairly big clubs will be going out of business in the next 5-10 years Imo, and as long as VT is here, it won't be Cardiff City.

I've always had the same supporting rule, we keep 2 things:

Our club name. (Which apparently can't change anyway due to FL EFA Ruling.
Our location. (Not likely to change in the foreseeable future)

All the rest isn't important to me, nothing can take away the history, I see this as a new era for the club to become an established premier league club, with someone that has wealth, ideas and a very strong desire to succeed,

That's good enough for me.

The rest of it is a bloody good day out, socialising with mates, having a bit of food and a few beers.

I ain't taking this rebrand as serious as some would like to make it out to be.
