Maybe you should let MM decide. He probably better qualified to judge

Hes does not have a say craig tan will do and bring in whoever from malaysia weather MM likes it or not. He must be something good though to pass the whole of europe where he could play in most countrys if allowed, but comes here instead to train for a two week spell, get real will you its a PR stunt same as the last two supposed MALAYSIAN STARLETS at the CLUBS COST to tan.

Craig,

I have to agree with Ian, Tan is pressurising Malky with these Malaysian players. I spoke to one of our main coaches who coaches over there(not going to say his name),but he was adamant none of the Malaysians are even good enough for even our conference division. Imagine if Malky spoke out or stood up for himself, he would not last 2 mins.

So you think if MM says to Tan no, Tan will sack him????

Im not naive enough to think its not a PR stunt but on the other hand what harm will it do? its a 2 week trial.....Ian's going on like its gonna cost a fortune, lets face it...its pittance at most.

Craig, Yes I do and yes its a total PR stunt once again.
We have 8 coaches over there and thy are all on Cardiff City's wage bill.

Only see this as another attempt to improve our reputation in Malaysia at minimal or NO cost to the club, so not bothered one bit!

This paranoia is beyond. Malky pressurised? As if he gives a f**k if Tan says "have a look at
this youngster for us".. The fact that we get a young lad over is obviously a bit of PR, but if
he proves to be any good he'll stay, if he doesn't... he'll be offski. Cost? well if it makes the
papers over there and some Company decide to throw a little sponsorship deal our way?????

There is more chance of "Mr West Ham" Boris Johnson starting a premiership match than
there is of some useless fucker getting carried through the youth set up just because he is
Malaysian

I don't have a problem with this providing these players are not given special privileges.

I agree with this. Though there does seem to be some needless scaremongering going on in the rest of the thread.
It's probably a PR stunt and it's plain to see that Tan would love to see some Malaysians make it in english football but as long as he doesn't interfere with team affairs like some chairmen i've got no problem.
If Tan wants to give an opportunity to give some of malaysia's very best players to experience what it's like to be at a top club and in turn give us a chance to cast our eye on the best talent coming from that part of the world, its fine by me.
As for it costing lots of money, i'm sure these costs can be made back by the interest coming from malaysia in their number one future star!

I don't believe for a second that MM would get the boot if he said no to Tan, just my opinion

Why is the knob end telling Malky about all these Malaysians just let Malky do what he does on his on with his scouting team .

If Tan loves Malaysia so much why dont he f**k off and stay there its almost like promoting malaysia is more important than CCFC, all a load of more and more bollocks and he is showing more and more that he knows jack shit about football.

I doubt Malky would let Tan bring anyone in if he wasn't good enough/fit the ethos.

I doubt malkys bothered. He's not paying for him, he can train with the developement squad and make up numbers and keeps the owners happy. If by some chance he's decent its a bonus. Just a million to 1 iff.

Wait and see next season then if we are in the bottom four of the prem during the first three months of the season, everyone who says anything other than the script gets the boot for whatever reason you only have to look at the changes in the last twelve months to see that no other club in the country has gone through EIGHT boardroom changes like us. I think its pretty clear by now unless people are walking about with blindfolds on. Oh well we are top of the league eleven points clear why should we talk about this stuff  :ayatollah:

Everyone on the non playing staff has been given the boot who wasn't upto standard. Nobody on here has his experience in how to run a huge huge business so why call him on it???

He's not touched a backroom staff member on the coaching staff. From my understanding members have only left at the decision of malky.

If malky doesn't cut it in the prem then so be it. We were all suprised when atkins went, but we all say there's not sentiment in football, the new guy has come in, run united close then smashed citeh.

Let VT do his thing. So far he's not done a bad job. Since the club were poorer than Newport County before he turned up and about to play in a league lower than Merthyr Town!

That's what I mean too. If he's not good enough he'll be booted off to the reserves. No biggie.

This is a PR stunt to promote the club in Malaysia again he will never make it but what it does show is that we are increasingly becoming just Cardiff City in name only. Tans only interest is the Malaysian market. We are no more than a tv audience for him.

If he cant make the cut at a side 2nd bottom of the Portuguese league cant be that good surely.

You're boring. If you don't know that this happens at a lot of clubs now you're past your bed time.

We have had Malaysia's top 2 players on trial and MM decided they weren't good enough and he wasn't sacked because of it. Its a PR stunt nothing more although he was seen as the one player from Malaysia to make the grade but went back home under mysterious circumstances a short time after having impressed enough to earn a 3 year contract in Portugal's premier division

So what is it then taffy if its not a PR stunt tell us all because he can not sign for us let alone play in this country. Complete waste of time and the money used to fund whatever this costs would be better served in the young guns or another youth area rather than expecting donations off fans to fund such things :malky:
