His shot in the first half would have gone in 8 times out of 10, that goal was superb. Sign him up Malky :ayatollah:

None of the top sides in the prem are good enough for him atm imo.

Real Madrid are the perfect match.

Should join Madrid. I think he is the 4th best player in the world after Hudson, Marshall and Whittingham. I doubt he'll ever be as good as those three though.

Madrid will hammer United in a couple of weeks and when Mourinho goes they'll just pick up another world class manager from somewhere. Ronaldo won't got his summer. Real wouldn't let him.

But they are f*cking awful, right? I have probably only watched 5 of their games this season but their last game they just look like they have lost all faith. That game will be close, Madrid are probably the better squad but have absolutely no self belief at the moment.

They're not at their best at the moment no... sounds a lot like the Chelsea dressing room at the moment with the likes of Casillas dominating it and going against the manager.

Ahead of the likes of van Persie, Falcao, Yaya, Cavani, Iniesta and - as much as it hurts me to say - Ibrahimovic?!

Dear me...

Re: Gareth Bale

Bale has done all this in the Premier League. He also had a brief spell of showing his quality on the european stage in the Champions League and despite being in not the best Welsh squad he manages to be the main man and come up trumps.

I hate it when people says hes inconsistent because he don't score. The games I have watched of him in full 90 in the prem he has been outstanding and he doesn't need to score goals as he has a dangerous cross and can play great passes.

He also can manage to make good distance on the ball from his own half.

I don't understand the love for Yaya, average footballer, physical beast, those bullocking runs look amazing but 3/4 of the time it ends with him spooning the ball behind someone or fluffing the shot.

In terms of ticking every box, Bale fits in the same company as falcao and ibra. Not many assists for bale this year though, hes definately playing more centrally more often for spurs but still would expect him to be setting up more goals. He got 10+ last year and it could have easily been 20 if he was firing the ball into a world class striker. Hes on course to score more though.

I can see where you're coming from with Yaya, but when you consider how he can boss midfield, destroy defences up front and - if needed - actually play in defence, it's hard to argue.

I consider him better than Bale, simply due to his extremely versatile style of play.

Real Madrid player. Don't think he is a Barcelona type player, as they like to pass it around for 10 mins before trying for goal. Madrid are more attack minded and get forward quickly, which is how Bale plays.

I'd say most definitely. He is behind Messi and Ronaldo. Put Bale in Uniteds team right now
and he'd have the same sort of effect Ronaldo had. Bale is unstoppable, but he's in a stoppable
team. Put him in Real Madrids side and he'd quite possibly outshine Ronaldo at the moment

Put it this way, if he was English, he'd be 'pressing Messi and Ronaldo for the top spot'

because he doesn't score? he scores all the time for spurs and wales even on the wing

Re: Gareth Bale

Bale is to Spurs and Wales what Gerrard has been to Liverpool for years. He is carrying the team. He is, in terms of talent, way above anyone else at Spurs or in the Wales setup. He needs to move on to realise his potential. I hope he does it sooner rather than later. Bale and Ronaldo on the wings for Madrid would be absolutely devastating.

He has popped up with a few this season but I have seen him being slated for lack of goals which is pathetic.
