Believe the company is no longer there so all their signs are gone! Like Said heard new company will take over using camera technology? Guess they're getting new parking rules which mean people are liable for fines like council car parks, time will tell if this is true.

It’s private property isn’t it?

Not sure as originally the rent from shops was city's as part of deal to build stadium shops don't own the land but pmg bought it as part deal to loan money to city to finish stadium so maybe it's their land? Like said maybe it's changing in near future?

Gavin wrote:Well it had to happen eventually, I've been sent a £60 fine for parking outside the Casino, I'm not a member I just grab a 'using le croupier' sign of the desk and stick it in the window.

I know these threads have been done before but has anyone actually ignored the letter and have action taken against them?

I'd prefer to hear replies from people with experience of dealing with this firm rather then hoards of people shouting 'don't pay it' purely out of speculation.

Never assume anything.
There was a case in the supreme court a couple of years ago where a guy named Barry Beavis took his private parking company parking fine right through to the supreme court and lost his case and had to fork out, he was consequently then given a CCJ and a black mark on his credit score. apparently they can legally enforce these fines.
You can google Barry Beavis supreme court case and read for yourself, not trying to be a clever f****r just making you aware, check it out and decide for yourself, its not all clear cut.

The thing in these above is you've all broken a contract the second you've decided to park on their private land and not use the facilities.
Who's the real bad guy here? I drive to the football and park away from the shops and ground. The car parks are for shoppersnot city fans who can't be arsed walking very far.
If it was your drive being used you'd have a different reaction no doubts.

Gavin I've had at least 10 parking fines and I've ignored every one of them.. Eventually they give up as long as you don't acknowledge them.If you do acknowledge them they then become enforceable, so my advice rip them up and put them in the bin. Job done..

They did send official looking ones from solicitors to so they follow into bin. Free parking....job done :)

Think I may hold the record since moving to ccs. 17 for me it's so easy to park there coming up freath. As others have said just ignore everything including solicitors letters they do give up as it's a civil contract unlike tickets you get from council or police.
