Not playing as well as we were at the start of the season and I think everyone will agree with that. However we're still picking up points and had we been offered this at start of jan we would have accepted immediately. Every team has a period where they perform below par but the team that gets promoted usually picks up points in these games. We know when we play well we blow teams away and hopefully our form picks up in recent weeks. I do think the table reads kindly but after previous seasons we are due some luck. I think the introduction of 2-3 new faces in jan would give the squad a massive boost and add a little extra competition for places. Most importantly and I feel I'm stating the obvious when I say we need a goal scoring striker. The squad as a whole have chipped in with goals this season and have performed well above themselves and in recent weeks this may have started to catch up with us a little. However with the quality we have in the squad and the 9 point cushion we should be going up easily in May as champions. I just pray we sign that goalscorer we need.

THIS IS OUR YEAR

But we should be 12 ahead because Ipswich were a poor side. 2 points dropped.

Not playing great! I agree but extending our lead week by week, it's a sign of a good side grinding out results.

Should be 10 points clear if Malky wasnt an inept ditheting tw*t today
f**k me are you for real, tell me the last time you were top of the league below the prem or old div 1 with a great chance of promotion,i'm mid 40's and the whole time i've followed Leeds i can't remember you ever being in a stronger position!f**k sake enjoy it while it lasts, moaning cause you're only 8pts clear, moaning cause you wear red, moaning cause you only get 22,000 crowds as the saying goes "you've never had it so good"

Its the same crap football we've been playing for most of the season, the only difference is we didn't win.
Still all the results went our way really and with luck , Mallky will never play that donkey up front ever again

Not but we're top of the league playing like that. Bit of a difference don't you think?

For now but what if we start to drop?
Theres no buts and what ifs about it, we will start to drop down the league
if we play we have done the past 8 or 9 games. We are in a false position and we aren't moaners for thinking that, we are REALISTS.

You say there are no buts anf if about it. And then say in the next sentence "if we play".
You dozey ****! You are not a realist you are a bona fide Moaner! The reality is we are top of the division. We will grind out more wins than losses in the next few months in my opinion. I am enjoying it. If you are not, hang up your zimmer frame stay in the house and watch Westerns on TCM you may enjoy that more.

There is a groundhog day inevitability about this.
We were 3rd this time last season went into a slump and ended up a lucky 6th. Last Jan we started to realise that MM had gone from playing football to lashing it aimlessly long down the middle and he kept it up for the remaining season. These games were probably some of the most boring 2 hours segments of my life.
It is our job as loyal fans to show the management team we were not happy with the change of emphasis. We may lose, I don't care but Malky got it wrong yesterday and has rode his luck over the last few games. I don't buy into this I support the manager through thick and thin regardless of the circumstances stuff.
We need to sign ready made striker and not a 17 year old who hasn't played a league game in 12 months.

Every team that plays us can't understand why we are top of the league

TBF I am stumped. The first half at Brum was like a shite 2nd division game. Today there was no difference between top and bottom

Thats why we are top of the league nobody can work us out
