So, you can say what you like, but nobody else can?

That's what debates and forums are all about. :ayatollah:

How can you say that when one of your previous comments on this very thread was:

Talk about double standards, dear oh dear  . By the way, I think Old Man Elite has put me on ignore so it would appreciated if someone quoted this. Cheers.

Agreed, I won't be able to for much longer myself thankfully I have a stick with an impressive brass handle to help prop me up. This is why my idea is good, at the moment it causes much tension in the Ninian as there is much ambiguity over whether you can stand or not. Asking ST holders whether they want to sit or stand will stop this and we can seperate them accordingly.

Writing it like that makes you come across so much better & I totally agree with you.

It's much better than acting up to a certain character and saying people should piss off if they don't like it etc.

Also is there any word on us getting the Grange end back?

:old: :old: :old:

When will you realise that some people don't want to stand?

The club have already allocated an area where fans are more welcome to stand, why don't you join them there?

Oh Chuckles you are a bore. More fans want to stand, it's evident on here. I do stand throughout the game and i'll continue to. If you want to sit down and continue your happy clappy ways then be my guest and move to the grandstand. Like I said at the moment those who want to stand in the Ninian are mixed with those who want to sit which causes tension. My proposal is to change this and seperate them accordingly.

If you don't like it then stick you season ticket up your arse and bugger off.

:old:

I'm a bore because I disagree with you? more fans want to stand? Where have you got this from? Surely if that were the case, there wouldn't be any "mix" of people wanting to stand or sit, rendering your final point nonsense.

Shot yourself in the foot there old man!

As I said, those who want to stand are more welcome in the Canton, if you want to stand, why not move there?

Every time me and my boy try and stand we get told to sit (canton stand) i can understand in asking me to sit if the people behind can't see, but my boy, he's 11, he's not blocking anyone, I've seen it happen to 3 little one's stood right at the front railings, singing songs, nobody around for at least 4 rows and they get told to sit, madness

Re: Stand up and support the team

Stock, that's terrible to hear. You would think the rest of the fans would want to cheer the team on like yourself, it's bordering lunacy that those that are capable of standing would rather be a grumpy so and so.

Chuckles what has that got to do with it? I said those in the family stand have the right to sit and no one should stand in there. If they want to stand they can go to the Canton. Stop getting your knickers in a twist and calm down, again I am going to ask you to leave this topic I have had enough warnings for making you look stupid!

You complain that you want to stand and people ask you to sit, yet you refuse to go to the area that is more "standing friendly".

Therefore you have no complaints. The club have provided an area for like minded supporters and you haven't taken on their advice.

Not hard to understand.

What about those who want to stand and see the pitch from the side. If you want to sit down and support the team like you would if you were at a relatives funeral then that's fine by me. If people want to stand up then they should and those that tell them to sit can take their support elsewhere.

No, those who want to stand should go and take their support elsewhere, namely the Canton, where the club are less keen to tell fans to sit down.

Instead you choose to mock and belittle the support of the others that are opposed to your opinion. The slightly moronic way to debate, no?

If you have any suggestions, why not take it to the club - instead of mocking fans. :ayatollah:

Again your failure to digest, understand and respond to what I am saying is evident. Answer me this, what about those fans who want to stand but have a side view of the pitch? Do these fans have to go to the Canton stand and have a view they don't want in order to satisfy the grumpy, archaic sods who probably weren't there in the lower league days and won't be there should we see those days again?

Again, you start to insult and assume a lot of these supporters. Which is rather embarrassing really.

I actually agree with what you are saying. 117 and nearby should be designated for a safe standing area, what I don't agree with is the insults you throw around at people for not having the same opinion as you.

Insinuating that they aren't proper fans etc. it's out of order. Most probably weren't there during the 50s & 60s, then again, neither were you.

You'd do better to accept that people have different opinions of how to support the team.

Just so you're aware, I've stood the last two games. Prefer to sit, but not against standing.
