If we let one in we will have to let Celtic in, you have to think both teams will make the top half of the Premiership meaning their introduction will be met with a lot of resistance from the current Premier league sides.
Moving an English club across the border? That certainly won't happen and neither should it.
Top half of the Premiership?

Undoubtedly after 5 years or so both old firm clubs will be in the top half of the Premiership. They are two massive clubs with massive fan bases only restricted by the league they play in, the riches of the Premier league will change that. It's not going to happen though so it's pointless discussing it.

After all the posturing in Scotland lately, it would make for a good laugh. One thing though, all this is heading straight for team UK becoming a permanent fixture.

Surely the best players would just transfer to the top leagues and the fans of teams in the new division 2 (old bottom half) would disperse as if their team had been relegated! It would just dilute the quality even further and put a huge gap in quality between division 1 and 2

If team uk becomes a permanent fixture, then we will have a uk league next.
I cannot see Rangeers being allowed access without others being allowed.

Anyone saying it is wrong for them to be in the English system is a hypocrite to be honest as we are a Welsh team in the English pyramid system. I do however think that if they join they should have to prove they are financially in the black and prove that they can make or at least forecast a decent profit. A percentage or profits should then be taken to pay those that the club owe money to. Taking them in is not the problem but with the state football in this country is in financially, especially at grass roots, there is no place for another leech of a club. If the club enters they should have to give something as a gesture and pay into the system etc. to help out at grass roots level.
