Check YOUR information. Brayford was asked to sign a new contract and refused. As time goes on his 'worth' will be less and less and Derby are looking to 'cash in' whilst his value is realistic. Cardiff have been told by his agent that he would be happy to talk. Doesn't mean it's a 'done' deal but the omens are good

i seen that on twitter aswell, didn't think nothing of it though cos they lie through their arse most if the time! but if it is Brayford i'll be very happy!

People think im having a go at carl, im not. I just find it tea spittingly funny the amount of people that hang off his every word and follow him around the board like a transfer messiah.
I like reading the updates if im honest, but how many times have we heard "players lined up" "defender in talks" etc people go crazy and nothing comes of it.
Carl said nothing, then all of a sudden the rumours emerge on twitter and theres a thread on here and people are all over it.

I dont envy the position carls in he gets a lot off needles abuse, but i think he should just be honest and admit he only knows what everyone else knows..

The best way to sort this out is next time Carl announces he is going to do an up-date, absolutely fearless agree to do one at the same time and see what transpires?

and thats the point fearless is trying to make. when you make a statement talking to a defender it covers a left back, right back and two centre halfs so theres a good chance we might sign one of those players and then that statement becomes correct.
if we dont sign a player then it can be quietly stated that talks broke down etc etc ita a win win situation when you make that type of statement.

Carl HAD to make a post when the rumours got so hot and had to post the brayford thing after the update because at the time of the update he had no idea and has had to do a quick side post incase the rumour is true and he missed out on posting it. Thems facts pal.

Lots of behind scene posturing in transfers. If player doesn't put a request in selling club have to pay up his contract.
Selling club may be playing hard ball with player hoping to save some money.

Steve on Monday, I said Malky would try and bring a defender in this week, then on Wednesday afternoon I got told we are in for a full back from a Championship club.

In the past I have named players signing and got stick for doing so, I try and do things differently now.

Similar I knew in December about Kevin St Luce being in trouble and in the past I have reported such incidents on here, only to be called a liar, bullshitter etc.

Remember the drinking fiasco before Middlesbrough, what about Chopra and his gambling problem (checking his phone at half time of games he has played in), I got massive stick for reporting those.

I suppose it is a case of damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Whether people like it or not mate, people (certainly on message boards) want to hear what is happening, I am trying to keep people informed.

Without naming names I got told by somebody (high up in club today) that we had two lined up in January, why they have not come to fruition yet I do not know.

As for transfers taking more than two days to sort out, I can think of several reasons for a deal to take longer.

I wasent having a dig at you Carl but just trying to put over what fearless was trying to express. At the end of the day Carl no one really knows who Malky is targeting as we saw in the summer transfer window. I stay out of all this crap now although I still chat to the same people but I prefer to wait and see.
To be honest if the players are not there I would rather sign no one although I expect Malky will be feeling the pressure from vinny to sign someone

I just take what Carl says and just hope to see if things happen.

I won't dig at him if we do because he is only passing on strong information.

He could easily give up doing updates after the abuse he got but now he is trying to be a bit cautious about how he says things on transfers.

If Brayford is the player then he starts for Derby today.
