True, but you can have the best medical staff in the world and they wouldn't be able to heal this injury quicker than 6 months. It's impossible. And that would mean mid-April earliest, that's all i'm saying.![]()
As you say, i'm sure they know what they're doing and will leave his comeback until next season. I would put a lot of money on it. It would be risking his career otherwise.
if they don't feel 100% certain that he'll be fine then i doubt they'll risk him! if they think he's 100% to start playing again then lets just trust them!
Once more, i havent said once the medical staff don't know what they're doing, i'm saying that because THEY DO know what theyre doing, they won't let him return before 6 months. So if anybody has been told that he could be back before mid-April then they've been mis-informed, because this 100% WILL NOT happen.
Only time will show that this is the case.
I totally agree with you Scott
Cheers mate.![]()
If anyone wanted to look up other experts opinions on the net, they will see for themselves what i'm trying to say. Just didn't want people to get their hopes up that's all.

Although maynard will be getting extra input and the research shows now to develop a player at their own pace Maynard is very very likely not to show his face this season. It will be another 3-4 months before aiming for twisting during 100% training sessions.
Meaning this will be march/april. It is very unlikely that considering we are top, have a few strikers and will be getting (hopefully) one in January that Maynard will be risked coming back. It is likely he will be in full contact within a few months then use the following few months to get full match fitness. Therefore putting him out of the running for making a comeback and if we are doing so well at that point why even change a winning formula. ANy players we see in private or NHS are pretty much ruled out for the season.
If you want an example look at vidic. Did Acl in December and did not feature until end of August

Ok then, believe that if you want.
lol please stop talking about it like you are the chronicle!!
we pay medical staff a lot of money to make these decisions!
Exactly, the medical staff make these decisions, and they will decide that he will come back later than early March.
If you want to believe otherwise then fair enough, makes no difference to me, just wait and see.

No disrespect, but suffering the injury doesn't make you as qualified as them.
If they do let him return, it will because he's fully recovered - they would never let him otherwise.
