Two old friends / team mates having a chat on holiday

The club thought it was more than two friends having a chat and he told him 'it would be great if he came to Birmingham.'

That is clear tapping up

If true jerome would defo fire us to the premier lge. :ayatollah:

100% agree. He has the height to be a threat in the air, the strength to bully defences, the pace to get in behind. Carlton Cole bossed this division at times and that helped create space for Vaz Te and the others. We need a player like him and it will open up space for Bellamy, Whitts and Noone more often. Also, Jerome and Maynard would be a brilliant partnership next year in my opinion.

Be excellent signing just what we need. He was still a kid when he left us with no real ties to Cardiff i'd welcome him back

Adam Brown having a pop at someone "breaking the code of conduct".

You couldnt make this shit up.

Re: Cameron Jerome

Sun Jan 06, 2013 8:48 pm

ok. i take your points onboard. lets see what happens, but i think he will have to win us over. hes not got a legend status here.

Re: Cameron Jerome

Sun Jan 06, 2013 8:48 pm

hahaha some comments on here r great. imo i dont fancy him to come here, i dont really see him as the striker to score 10 12 goals from now til may. i may be wrong, hopefully iam. but i can guarantee, if he comes and does a job, no fecker on ya will be slagging him off. you cant expect players to be stuck with us for the rest of their careers boys. But i dont want him here, dont think he'll fit in, after being with stoke for the las few years. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: Cameron Jerome

Cameron Jerome coming back would be the signing of the window for us. I'd be so confident of promotion if this happens.

Won't believe it until I see it, but I would be over moon.

His comments were...

"I'm delighted to be joining a big club like this. Hopefully I can just pick up from where I left off last season (with Cardiff) and continue to do the same here at Birmingham."

"I owe Cardiff everything because they gave me my first chance and my senior debut in the Football League. I will never forget that and I'd like to think part of the transfer money will be spent on other players."

Whats wrong with that???!!??!?

Praised his new club and thanked his old

Exactly, as I thought, Jerome said nothing disrespectful to us whatsoever. Some of you are an odd bunch, you're so unhappy about not having anything to rant about so you decide to make something up about Jerome having an ego and being disrespectful to us.

I will be delighted if Jerome joins us, he will terrorise defences at this level. :ayatollah:

So helping to break FA rules in trying to get Ledley to sign for Birmingham isn't disrespectful is it..?

Proof please?

Did Jerome or Birmingham get charged by the FA for tapping up Ledley? If not, surely there's no issue.

Re: Cameron Jerome

He's my second highest striking target this window so I'd be delighted if we signed him :ayatollah:

Re: Cameron Jerome

Sun Jan 06, 2013 8:59 pm

And hasn't he sat in City end at a couple of away games?

Would be a top signing.

Wanted and was given the chance to go play in the Prem, I didn't see the problem then & would welcome him back now. :ayatollah:

Yep. Agreed.

I don't know how true the rumour is but the more I think about it, the more I think it's a top signing, he's exactly the type of person everyone describes but clueless people are saying they wouldn't be happy... How can people look at our front 4 and say jerome ain't good enough....

Mason
Helgusson
Gestede
Velikonja
But jerome isn't good enough

Route one is the way forward in Football. Stoke and West Ham are doing fantastic with the players they got.

Re: Cameron Jerome

I hope there is some truth in this as Cameron would for me clinch us promotion, strong pacy and can score at this level, he was young and raw when he left and still only 26! Fingers crossed.....4m at most though. Can we have Charlie Austin too just to be sure :-) :D :ayatollah:

Good point this actually. Carlton Cole and Andy Carroll are of similar physique to Jerome also and they bossed this division. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
