Just to clear up a couple of points, although I have seen a few incidents in the past, I never was and never will be a part of this "lads" culture. Just wasn't my thing? I went along to watch the football and that was it, all the best to those who wanted to be a part of it, just not for me, and to be honest, at 36 years old now, I think I missed the "lads" and the fighting culture by a few years.

You'll notice that I rarely comment on any threads about that side of things, like I said, good luck to those who want to talk about it or were involved, but I wasn't, so I've got nothing to add to those threads. I'll usually comment on the general football threads, which are often very good on this board. I signed up to reply to a Swans related thread, but find a few good topics on here, so I look in now and then.

Being Scottish and moving to Wales when I was a kid, maybe I've just got a different outlook on things? I don't know, but I spent a few years living in Cardiff and Barry and made some good friends who are Cardiff fans, we have a laugh and a bit of banter, but we still often meet up for a pint and a night out, and it would make me a hypocrite if I went on about how much I hate Cardiff... I don't! I want to beat them when we play them, certainly more than other teams, but that's rivalry for you. As for planet swans, I do post on there now and then... Can't see a problem with posting on both?

And lastly, you missed a cracking game yesterday, but that's the cup for you, which was the point of my original post...

Swansealad is just upset that he can't make any friends on here.

I dont have a problem with most of the jacks its all good to have banter even if you dont like what they say. We will do it if we ever get above them again. And its always good to have a jack with a bit of a balance view and good head on his shoulders like ScottJack.
