Landed for macclesfield, their crowd were ecstatic. Played well to be fair, all the best to them!

I do care about the FA cup but we always give it are all and under DJ we would always go to win every game .Sometimes you have to put things into perspective and at the top of the league with a bigger chance now than ever you just have to say lets give the youngsters a go at the cup.
To say I dont care about the FA cup is bollocks what was all the fuse about the statue then ?
We lost the game today so it all out for the prem now.

Agree Bricky. I've always loved the FA and LC even though they have lost their gravitas as football has become a business. I still think international honours and trophies should be absolutely treasured but these things are unfortunately secondary goals now. We all know that more than any other season our primary focus must be on one thing, so while its never good to lose, I'm not gutted. Good luck Macc and c'mon you Gooners!

I do think that Malky did disrespect both the competition and our opponents by fielding such a weakened team.
However, now the dust has settled, I do think that Malky has learnt a valuable lesson that he now must fully understand that his fringe players are simply not good enough. This harsh lesson would not be possible in a league match.
Cup sacrifices may well save our season.
