Not sure you can say the authorities are doing nothing. There have been several high profile investigations of fans this season who have been found to have committed racially aggrivated chanting. Also I think if you fined the average fan £65k then it would be more than enough to discourage others.

Again it is NOT up to the players to take such action and they should be fined or suspended if they walk off the pitch for any reason.

Fines don't do anything it's a stupid slap on the wrist. Boateng walking off and everyone following was the best thing to do, it shames the fans reputation along with the clubs reputation, the club will then have to deal with that image and change it which is better cause FIFA/UEFA are not gonna help cause all they care about is their wage and do little effort without getting their fat arses off their seat.

I just don't see the point in ruining a football match where people have paid and come to support their team and then a couple of ill-minded c***s ruin it for people by shouting abuse which is depicting skin colour/sexuality/appearance. FIFA need to set precedents too. Expulsion from competitions or severe points
deductions. They'll only need to do it once

We all know that Serbia is a special problem no doubt about that. But you can't hold that up as a common example because that is plainly untrue.

Sorry what you have posted is bollocks. It will take time but Serbia will eventually fall into line even if it takes several attempts by the authorities to get the punishment right. At the end of the day the Serbian FA didn't sanction the racist chanting that was carried out by individuals and in that case the authorities (i.e. the Police) are the ones who should deal with it.

Your final point is so stupid it defies belief. How can you compare millionaire sportsmen to the brave fight of ordinary miners in the 1984 strike? Those people were fighting for their livelihoods and the right to bring home a decent wage so they could feed their families. Whilst racist chanting is disgusting, it is still just name calling and not one of the millionaire players is going to suffer a loss of livelihood because of it.
