I'll be sticking to the Canton pubs, been turned away from too many pubs in town for wearing clothes that the bouncers seemed to think made me some sort of hooligan, I wore them for fashion reasons.

They didn't want Bluebirds in the boozers up until now so I won't be giving them my custom if we go up, I'll stick to where we've been welcomed for the last few years.....Canton

I pleaded guilty to assualt at the station but only because it was self defence.

When it got to court the judge believed me which meant no ban. But just incase he gave me a conditional discharge which lasted 12months, this meant that if I was arrested within 12months I had to be charged with the offence again.

My solicitor said expect a minimum 3year ban regardless of being inocent because it was football related so I'm lucky really

As a matter of interest, why did you plead guilty when you believed you were innocent? Seems a strange one that. Not quite sure when you say the magistrate believed you. If you pleaded guilty then he believed your guilt.

I pleaded guilty because if I didn't there was a very good chance I was spending the night up in shefield. I was 17 1st time arrested and was shiting it to be honest

When I say he believed me it was he believed that it was in self defence, no victim had come forward to say they had been assaulted and the arresting copper never came to court to give his story of events. But in his statment he said that id attacked one guy when his friends tried to stop me I continued my assault on them (total bullshit). He made out id taken on all of brammel lane. Which I think went in my favour

They were trying to give us the evils at times but nothing to worry about and I drank happily in there. Mind you it could have been different if they wanted to play up on us knowing we were outnumbered. However as already posted (and viewed 17,000 times) the same lot in the POW were responsible for jumping the Cardiff lot. Who knows... if they felt more opposed during their day in Cardiff they may have thought twice about doing what they did.

I for one will not be throwing punches in town. Jail kind of loses its appeal as
you get older. Even our 'younger' lot dont get involved anymore, cos the police
have smashed them too.
