2000 fans?? Where have you got this figure from??

Absolute 'Tosh' Angry Man

The majority of fans have 'moved on' and I note more and more RED shirts on display as weeks go on and success follows success

You can perpetuate the 'Red/Blue' thing on and on BUT the important FACTS are that we are STILL Cardiff City Football Club and we are TOP OF THE LEAGUE

In the REAL world that is what REALLY matters where this club is concerned :ayatollah:

Our average THIS season is 21,988. I have no idea where you get your figures from
but we have not had ONE attendance under 20,000, so it would be impossible to then
have an average attendance below that figure. Basic maths

It's wrong.

I did clearly point out that its from wiki so what are the real figures then..? However as mentioned many times by others too you cant really go on attendences because of new fans.

The Football League website shows:

2011-12 Cardiff City Avg. 22,100
2012-13 Cardiff City Avg. 21,988

However the club reported the Peterborough incorrectly when passing it to the FL and news wires. They stated it was 22,073 and not 26,073. So the stats will always be incorrect.

2012-13 Cardiff City Avg. 22,295

Wrong, as of yesterday our average league home attendance, this season is 22,306 and that's pretty good considering the away teams have brought so few fans this year, a lot less than previous, this may be down to the visit a new ground scenario that always attracts more the first season or so. :old:

I can't. I'll go with what I've learned on here over the last two years. your a Merthyr fan and
very rarely set foot in Ninian Park. And admitted as much to Annis by all accounts because
you wanted a Wembley ticket. thats going along with circumstantial evidence that is.

Now show me some that indicates thousands have dropped out over the rebrand???

you cant get a more staunch supporter than Annis. He despises the rebrand but still goes..
Cos the Club is in his blood. You telling me there are thousands with 'stronger morals' than

http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Councillo ... 0207536808 that says the year 2000 but it was actually 2001 so do you want me to get evidence of my past season tickets from club and my banning card up..? FFS!!!!

Well we all know that isn't true. We haven't had one "official" attendance this season under 20,000. What may be true is that "actual" attendances this season have averaged at around 19,000 - but that will also be the case for previous seasons. You can't take into account the season ticket holders who don't turn up at matches (mainly in the family stand) for this season and not do the same for last season.

I can speak for myself when I say my season ticket is only being used for about 50% of home games - I renewed my season ticket at the earliest possible opportunity last season, but it ended up that I moved to Australia. So I sold my ST on to a mate of mine who's a Villa fan and went to the odd Cardiff game from time to time. He only goes to about 50% of home games because if Villa are on TV at the same time as City are playing he wont go, and my seat goes unused. I'd imagine this is also true for fans of clubs like Liverpool, United, City who have bought a season ticket at Cardiff just to watch PL football next season, but only go when their resepctive teams aren't playing.

The closer we get to that promised land. The more sell-outs we're going to get now.

I reckon our average by the end of the season will be around 24,100. Almost 2000 UP
on last season.

Tan has certainly done his homework. I find it a bit worrying to be honest because he
has been given the green light over the WHOLE rebrand, badge, colour, the lot :(

I understand 70-odd refused to renew season tickets in August and I know for a FACT that (a) some of those used the red/blue thing as a 'cover' for not wanting to renew for 'other' reasons, such as changes in work and child-minding situations, and (b) many wish they'd stuck with it as they feel they have missed out on the fabulous fayre that has been on display

MOST (including me) would prefer it had not happened BUT accept it for what it is and so far results have backed up VT :ayatollah:

There is no question that the new fans have turned out in force. In fact everyone agrees on that but the point reallyis that its better to get everyone on board rather than spilt the fans. 'If' the spilt never happened then it would be a sell out every game.

ok. To recap. A fair few who know you say your not a Cardiff City fan and any
visits you made to NP were few and far between, as you were a Merthyr fan.
Also, that you'd been in touch chasing a Wembley ticket as you hadn't been the
CCS all season. The preponderance of evidence (though circumstantial) leads
me to believe you may have been telling porkies.

Balance that against your latest claims that we have lost thousands of fans through

a fair few hmmmm Gwyn and Polo were the main people and others have caught onto it. No evidence there whatsoever given their previous record of statements on here.

Granted my ban wasn't the best period of my life but it proves that I followed the club long before now. So even using that report as evidence is better than a so-called phonecall

Mis-quoted Wiki.

Mid-quoted this seasons average down from 20,135 to 19,417 and also moved last years up from 22,139 to 22,193. I suppose it helped your case. ;)

It actually says 20,135 (still wrong) and not the 19,417 you quoted. That part of the wiki page has not been edited today so it hasn't changed since we've both looked at it.

I haven't changed nothing. To be honest I wouldnt know how to do it

Mis-quoted Wiki.

Mid-quoted this seasons average down from 20,135 to 19,417 and also moved last years up from 22,139 to 22,193. I suppose it helped your case. ;)

I had it off this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012%E2%80 ... .C._season

I know Adam, ive known him for over 20 years, and I dont need any proof.

He has never been a regular down the city so losing "fans" like him is no big deal because they will be replaced by new fans.
