Any one could've scored that goal

Why didn't anyone? Bellamy had better chances, hardly a clear cut chance.
Looking at it again on the football league show its because he wanted it more than the defender and finished well.

He still did a job and though and with the options we have he was the right choice and finished his chance.
If bellers was more alert earlier on as well Rudy have got a assist.
People seem obsessed with rating him as good enough whatever that means. With the options we had today he was the right choice and only player to score.
It's odd he gets so much attention

It just annoys me when people bring him up when he's done something decent and they slate the people who criticise him. For his standards he's getting better, but in reality he's not that good and he's nowhere near the standards of the rest of our squad. That's just my opinion though, I still cheered his goal and chanted "Rudy" at the top of my voice.

He is very static and for a young man he should be putting in a lot more. He won the odd header today and did a few link ups but you would expect that of any player sadly his overall effort and runs are shocking.
I really can't argue with that asessment of things.
Maybe a stint on loan somewhere with regular football would help bring him on a bit but I still haven't seen enough to suggest he is an asset to a team chasing premier league football.
Scoring the only goal of the game, surely makes him an asset.
He isn't the best but ATM the only type of player we have.

And but for poor finishing by them could of cost us the points cos the ball just wont stick to him and often leads t giving possession back to them.
Against better teams his failure to control the ball will cost us.

He kept the ball better than Helguson when he came? Yes or no?

Serious question polo is your obsession wHowith him just you now trying to prove yourself right? You don't seem to grasp anything good he does. Your obviously an intelligent guy and seem the work DJ did (and batter MM for it).
You seem to want to make a point all the time.

Not allowed an opinion am I?
I didnt start this thread I gave my opinion same as you did.
I made a point of watching him yesterday and goal aside he was awful. One good lay off and won one header that reached its intended target.
For his size he cant jump, hes weak and the less said about his touch the better.
