Having spoken to several Jacks, they all seem to think that's a fair analysis.

Then how did we score past we flat back 10 then? :D

Nonsense analysis. Under Laudrup, id agree. To suggest that under Monk is lunacy.

We have scored in all games under Monk barring Napoli home. Including 3 home against you and 3 away to Liverpool.

If you had any sort of cutting edge yesterday, you'd have put more than 1 past Crystal Palace at home in the first half with those sorts of stats.

Those stats suggest that palace should have been put to bed in the first half, they weren't.

This is clearly a lie as we have been told by the oracle that it was the greatest half of football he has seen in decades

Not a lie, just lazy comment born from the style of Laudrup.

In our 4 league games under monk we have scored 8 goals. Or 2 goals a game on average.

Considering you havent scored in all that time at all, says it all about "cutting edge".

Completely disagree. We have scored 8 goals in our 4 league games, to suggest no cutting edge is ridiculous.

Real Madrid have battered teams and only been 1-0 up at half time, do they have no cutting edge too?

Thats because you haven't had the most dominant half in decades.

ACE OF BASE

83% possession and 400% more shots on target is the most dominant half ive seen for as long as I can remember.

If they have battered teams and call the football sensational against one of the poorer sides at home and only scored 1 goal, I'd say that would suggest a lack of cutting edge for that half in particular, yes.

Sensational football doesn't automatically mean goals. Although its not like is wasn't fruitful as some seem to be suggesting, it allowed us to go into the half with the lead.

How many do you have to score to have a cutting edge? I think a 25% chance conversion rate is more than acceptable. The football displayed in the first was stunning, there is nothing that will change my mind so im not sure why people are trying :D

It was sensational and we carved out enough chances to go into the half with a multi goal lead.

You have over 800 posts in the last few weeks alone, and from what I understand many thousands more under various other guises! can this be correct? You claim to have a fantastic life in Australia and that you have made something of yourself, yet what sort of life can you possibly really have if you feel the need to post sometimes upto a hundred times a day on a football forum of a team you don't support. Jesus you heard of a paragraph space

I dont "claim" to be anything young man. My personal life remains that until someone wishes to talk about it.

You can twist any situation you like. I come here to talk about football, and do just that. When people get annoyed that I stand my ground then they get angry and personal - and then get angry when I show they are wrong :D

Its like you telling me Medel is good, me disagreeing, you still saying hes good so then me saying "you are sad, you have no life, you have nothing, you are a loser etc etc" only for you to explain and show your life for then me to say "haha you have a personality disorder because you are showing people" :D

If you get offended by my showing my great lifestyle then dont bring it up would be my advice, im here to talk footy

83% possession and 400% more shots on target AND the lead.... Is stunning. If you think thats irrelevant, childish, mental or indeed the opinion of Hitler reincarnate makes little difference and impacts my opinion ZERO.

As for the forum. My work is based on my mobile devices, this is one window continuously open - its not a chore i cam assure you as the picture above shows. I was posting pool side in between dips

Just something you will have to deal with

Re: Swansea v Palace - complete dominance

Our first half domination yesterday was assisted greatly by Palace showing no ambition whatsoever. Pulis is a wily old fox and he knew that if his team were still within touch for the second half then the likelihood would be that we would tire and they would get on top so he sent his side out to defend for their lives in the first 45 and keep it as tight as possible. This was shown by them spending most of the first half with 11 mean behind the ball.

That said, without the illness in the camp costing us Bony and Williams during the second half and a penalty given for a foul committed a yard outside the box by Mike F*cking Dean who was 60 yards away, we would probably have managed to get the win.

But given the circumstances, I'm happy enough with the point.

Nobody suggested so - but it certainly sounds like the most dominant first half in decades... Which of course was what was said with 83% possession and 400% more shots on goal and 100% more goals

Absolutely, not easy to break down 11 men with 5 or 6 attackers, hence why it was so sensational we could keep the ball for 37 of the 45 minutes pinging it around with accuracy and ease, which of course also got us into half time in front. Maybe you guys should try it

Sensational and completely dominant.

Best half for decades  I am sure there is not another Jack on the planet who agrees.

I havent seen anyone suggest we were anything but dominant, just people suggesting why we were able to be so sensational and dominant :thumbright:
