Not at all, just saying that should it fail, at least I've done something about how I feel - rather than criticising others on the Internet!

Keep up the good work Chuckles. Every supporter who puts the identity of our club ahead of success will be backing you all the way. I am loving us being currently top of the league, but the feeling is nowhere near as special to me as it should be. My opinion is Vincent Tan has vandalised our club. We are still Cardiff City, but it's not the real Cardiff City to me anymore, the Cardiff City I grew up supporting and falling in love with, the Bluebirds playing in blue. Our identity has started to be stripped and if our Bluebird is completely removed, we will have nothing resembling our football club remaining. Location aside, we will be no different to the Man Utd's, Liverpool's etc. They don't play in blue, they play in red, they don't have a Bluebird on their badge, but they are in the Premiership; and unfortunately for some of our fans, it seems the sacrifice of our identity is worth it just for Premiership football. :(

Rather have a club to watch and play in red, than be deluded and attached to something long gone.

I was pointing out the catalyst for the arguing between fans. VT. if he hadn't changed the club colours, there would be no fighting. Hence, he is the catalyst.

Please learn to read.

Club wouldn't have ceased to exist had we stayed in blue. It was all propaganda. Worked a great, didn't it?
Anyway, you have your opinion & I have mine. Leave it there.

100 % agree my thoughts exactly. We DID NOTHING last season as a protest but why cant we do something now or at the start of next season.

If lots of us feel this way then why dont we do something about it any ideas ?

Crucial thing is, plans for next season will be made around March time, so I'm hoping we have enough by then to get some sort of influence.

If there is enough interest, maybe hold a meeting to discuss any issues further.

Key points of this protest - to return to blue AND to ensure the bluebird stats - I fear that it's in real danger of being dropped.

Your wrong for saying supporters who have 'accepted it' have sold out though. I put up
with it. But any more f*cking about with that awful badge and I might turn my back
after 30 odd years :(

As for no fighting? You wish feller.

There is a concerted, bitter agenda among some to undermine Vincent Tan no matter
what he does. This was as plain as day last season and even the season
before. If there had been no rebrand I'm pretty sure there would still have been fans
slagging him off, and fans backing him, and 'rifts'

But lets be honest, tiny little rifts. The rebrand has worked :(

I dont like it, I hate the red, hate the badge and want my Blue back, its why I signed.

I agree - had nothing to dislike about Tan before the rebrand. What has happened now, is that I don't trust him.

I don't trust him with the bluebird either - he clearly isn't too keen on it and I just hope it isn't the next 'step' of the rebrand.

Good post mate. Thanks.

You can't say 'Please learn to read' when I quoted Mr Angry and told him to learn to read.
Your point is also wrong anyway, I'm stating a petition may cause MORE potential catalysts for arguments.

Silly boy.

RED. Frankly, I've swallowed. I dont like it. But my initial response to it was... if the
'modern football' fans down at the CCS start buying it. Nobody can ever really tell Tan
he was wrong. Because the proof of the pudding is in the eating. I was gutted and
disheartened when those red shirts started shifting from the shelves. He is a Multi-
Billionaire, and if RED is the cross we have to bear? then so be it... As long as we
have the BLUE away kit and we are the BLUEBIRDS. But i'm exactly the same as you on
the badge. I found it quite insulting. Obviously NO consultation, no thought went into
it. Its just a shitty stupid looking badge with an afterthought to our Bluebird, as though
he's gone "oh aye, best keep one on there or they'll moan.

But if he doesnt redress that f*cking beermat next season, and we do not see the Bluebird
treated with a little respect. My emotional link to the Club will have lost another of its
nine lives. If the Bluebird goes.... I wont set foot in the Ground until Tan has gone, or until
he brings it back.

The original design presented to the chosen few had no bluebird on it at all.

Ali has been informed not to call us Bluebirds in Tan's presence.

The one person who fought to kept the bluebird is no longer around.

I really don't trust him on this.

Orite Chuckles. Everyone we've made a Facebook group page 'Bring Back Our Blue'. If everyone could go and like it, it would be very helpful and push this movement even further. I'll keep you updated with everything on there. Also it would be great if I could have some opinions on what to put as the cover photo, cheers. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bring-Bac ... ts&fref=ts :ayatollah: :D

Your full of shit.

Tan was at the Peterboro game and we were called the bluebirds on 3 seperate occasions. Please use facts and not crap you've heard on here

Was he? First I've heard of it. Can anyone else confirm this?

I'm not "full of shit" - opinions can't be "shit" - however, I suggest you debate with facts/information rather than insults. ;)

Where have i insulted you? You should know me wellenough to know if i were insulting you it would be worse.

I heard him say it at least 3 times, therefore its fact.

Re: BRING BACK OUR BLUE FOR NEXT SEASON - Online Petition

Saying someone is full if shit is a personal insult. Attack the post, not the poster.

Secondly, I was on about Tan's attendance. Normally it's well documented so I'd be surprised if he was there and nobody has mentioned it.

If somebody could prove this, I'd be happy to accept I'm wrong.
