Just got back from West Ham where City fans who know something about football weren't moaning all game about our players.

We SUPPORTED them all and the way the winning goal was made and finished made the crap we've had to go through before the game worthwhile.

I know many true fans didn't go for the obvious reason but other so called fans who moan like hell about a team before half time of the FIRST GAME of the season should support another side (if they don't already).

Either way; Quadsas I do have to disagree with you, you can't get on his back after half hour of a game. I do think that Miller had a quiet game. However, the whole team are still learning to play together, his match sharpness probably isn't 100%, and he did what he is employed to do. It was a great shot from a VERY awkward position. If he buried a chance like that against a very good (although not England standard) goal keeper, then surely that can only bode very, very well for the future. Maybe Gestede does deserve most of the cudos, but at the end of the day it's a team performance, and it's a team win.

Yes he didn't play very well overall and considering the circumstances and expectations - I dont think anyone was expecting an AMAZING game from him!

What the majority of posters here will probably agree with is to WAIT until the game is over and done with before we go throwing judgments around!

Clearly - being the 1st game of the season, things can only improve! So lets forget making stupid threads 30 minutes into a game against premiership quality? On that note - we made them look average!

it was millers first start for us, joined pre season later than the others..

he was brought in to score goals.. thats what he did, and a very difficult one to stick away also... every player worked tirelessly today and gave 110% something we are not used to seeing as city fans..

regardless of whether he scores in the first min or the last.. he still got the winner... so how can that be shit...

lets not forget west ham had a 5 man midfield of top quality and it was difficult to get the ball of them . when we play against a different team im sure we will see more of miller...

so lets stop the negativity.... a support the boyz!!! we won probably the most difficult game of the season!
