Of course he was injured, otherwise he would have played you plank

The purpose of my "argument" was to say Michu coming back wouldnt really do that much as our injuries are and have been mainly on the wing and in defence.

How can their injuries "Mainly" be in defence when its the area that has made the most appearences for them

The wing is justified as Hernandez has been out, and Dyer, but he has been caught out exagerating / lying to try and make his point (about not missing Michu). AGAIN!!!! :laughing6:

Yes they have.

Every single one of our starting defensive unit of 6 have missed matches through injury.

This is significant and this is why the return of Michu makes little difference. Which lets not forget was the point in hand mr troll

Because in our defensive unit we have had 7 injuries.

Vorm
Tiendalli
Davies
Williams
Chico
Rangel
Canas

On the wing we have had 3 injuries

Routledge
Dyer
Canas

In attacking midfield we have had 2 injuries

Michu
De Guzman
Shelvey if you want to count today?

Up front we have had 1 injury

Bony

I make that over 50% of our injuries this season have been to the defensive unit. Shame :laughing6:

Well we are never going to agree on the percentages it seems.

However what we both agree is all our defenders have been out injured.

Now then, if our striker and attacking midfielder are fit and healthy... Then why would I desperately want Michu back? Stick him on the wing?

Your argument makes little sense Chris. As usual

But fit enough to come on if needed, which could have been minute 1, so not injured. May have been rested but then that's a managerial decision.
So that's 2 games where he didn't feature on the team sheet, 1 of which you won with a clean sheet, so it had no bearing on the result The fact is Williams wasn't in the match squad for 1 game where you lost, so not really a major factor in your poor season. Keep up.

I didnt lie, you just think they cant be on the bench if they are injured - where as i think they can. You lied when you said bony wasnt injured and that canas was 4th choice captain and that under malky you scored 0.7 goals a game didnt you

We have a goalkeeper and a back 4 with a defensive midfielder - that is 6. All were injured including our reserve fullback - 7

Nope. If they arent fit enough to start then they are indeed not fit.

Again for the third time - what has the baring on the result got to do with anything? You seem to be having your own little argument here.

Let me tell you again....

Polo said "bet you arent glad Michu is out now" (i initially said it would probably be a blessing in disguise as it will give Bony a chance and Michu is wasted up front... Which of course proved correct)

My reply was "why? When most of our injury problems are in defence and the wings" (which I have just proved that the overwhelming injury list has been to defenders and wingers"

Simple as that

Every player has missed at least one game, and seeing as that there are more defenders in your squad than any other position then obviously if you are just counting single games as a period injury then every club in the land must have a defensive injury list

Seeing as you want to take it back to the whole season then both De Guzman and Bony have missed more games than any of your defenders, excluding Vorm of course but its not like Michu is going to play in goals :laughing5:

And lets forget you said Williams, Davies and Rangel in "recent weeks" which I proved with stats another lie.

I will let you off though as your maths has been exposed as woeful this past couple of weeks and this thread especially.

And my point about De Guzman and Bony, two of the players who play in the positions Michu plays, have been out for more matches than any defensive individual (Vorm excluded) so your point about having Michu not making a difference as another position has been affected more is again, ie not true.
