It's a shame because most of the first page of posters were coming out with valid points, whether it be for or against the OP, but as soon as the Chuckmeister gets involved it degenerates into exactly what you state.

Not my fault that people cannot answer my point about Tan and his direct quote.

The biggest load of bollocks on this thread is us fans signed some kind of phantom deal with Tan.

factgasm and military junta are two of roathies accounts if any of the mods even care anymore
The fact that people still insist on quoting him all the time means the ignore option is pointless anyway

What's really wonderful is that you have to comfort yourself with the idea that all the mockery of BU's irrational thinking comes from just one source, when it doesn't.

Tan is at the very bottom of the food chan IN MY EYES.

The club and it's identity along with the fans is at the top and there is no wiggling around or finanical backing from ANYONE in the world that can change that.

If Tan feels threatened and he wanst to leave - fine.
We want Tan to stay but purely just want him to go back on the rebrand as EVERYTHING he has done for us could of been done whilst we played in blue.

I don't care if "we are in danger of losing VT" ... Just like VT couldn't care about about what the fans think - Argue with me all you want but you will NEVER be able to say that Tan values the fans and the club more than his own back pocket :sleepy2:

The best way to show your BLUE in my opinion is to wear BLUE at every game you attend home or away, but still cheer the team on.

Agree , thats what I'll be doing every home game and the away games I can make :ayatollah:

Aggre with you on this one, guys

As well meaning as the original group are, the BU march will take away focus from what is otherwise an historic event for Cardiff City Football Club

If you want to make a visible and obvious statement, just continue to wear blue

That will speak much louder than a march that Vinent Tan will probably not even be aware of and will certainly take no notice of when all is said and done :(

So it will take away focus on the day, but Tan won't notice? I'm confused.

I'll try not to be hard on you, fella, as you obviously missed the whole point

The focus will be taken away because the media will have their usual shit stirring field day, where they report the bits they want and blank the rest. Football will take a back seat in some papers and on some news programees when all should be focusesed on the important matter in hand, i.e. Cardiff City's first game at home in the Premier League (and against Man City on Sky TV's prime slot too)

I suspect, as usual, one or two will derail the day for their own reasons and it will degenerate into some kind of anti-Tan march with agendas other than 'keep cardiff blue'

That would be a huge shame for Cardiff City FC and its long-suffering majority of supporters...and Vincent Tan won't bat an eye-lid

Comprende now?? ;)

sven you are entitled to your opinion like everyone else, but You regulary claim to be voicing the concerns of the majority, which lets you down.

My opinion is that our clubs heritage is more important than one glamour tie, no one will even care about Man city in a year, but the hsitory books will record our fight to retain what is OURS.

Re: ' This bluebirds unite march against Man City '

If Cardiff had 2 teams I would still support the team my family had supported.

Tradition for me. Which is why I love the blue shirt. But I don't have £100m to invest in the club, so I'm just happy we have a team to support.

If you ever take a trip trip the US Archives building in Washington DC, you'll see an epigram chiselled over the main entrance which reads "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

This club is about to join the Premier League. That means that fifty plus years of hurt, fifty years of playing lowly opposition in a clapped-out stadium, owned and managed by second rate people are about to end. Malky, Tan and the team are the angels and geniuses that that have taken us to the promised land.

By all means remember the past, but let's not hold the club hostage to it either. Be warned that in defending the club's traditions so vehemently, you risk harming its interests.

The future is ours to make, so lets make it a good one - a future we rise above small-minded bickering to establish ourselves as a true giant of the game.

I hear they are going to rebuild Ninian Park at the National History Museum in St Fagans - you know, that place where they rebuild old relics from Welsh history?

BU could start their own blue club there.
