There is a lot of scaremongering but most scientists/medics agree that current rate of increase in new variance infections is a doubling every 2 days.
Pretty easy to do the maths for everyone on that.
Since when is an expert statistician's analysis scaremongering?
In fact he's not scaremongering, quite the contrary. It's the Government and associated parties that are ramping up the fear.
To which scientists/medics are you referring ?
Sorry point not specifically directed at you, tend to agree with your point.
Although on the scientist/medics question the current modelling is pretty much consistent. Not a big problem on it's own as long as people get the booster in time.
The modelling by Ferguson/Imperial College etc has been exaggerated and proven to be incorrect and inaccurate throughout this shitshow.
it's used to frighten the public and cover for Govt actions.
As for the 'booster' it's effectively the same stuff they've been using to date. We know this doesn't halt infection or onward transmission. So what's going to change?

Again, your point about the booster is not correct according to the scientific studies so far.
Protection after two vaccinations against this variant is around 40% depending on who you listen to, after the booster it’s 75%+.
Or are you saying scientists are fiddling those figures too !!??

True it's not perfect but will definitely slow things down, and they are working on a Omicron specific vaccine which will be ready by March.
You watch who complain the most if we have to lockdown or impose stricter measures the Antivaxxers, who are trying to stop people having vaccines and boosters, which means we are much more likely to have lockdowns and stricter measures, try and work that one out if you can?

Boris Johnson has won backing for Covid passes in England, despite the biggest revolt by Tory MPs since he became PM.
A total of 99 Conservatives voted against the government, but the measure was passed by a majority of 243 thanks to Labour support.
So NHS Covid passes, showing a recent negative test or full vaccination, must be shown to get into many large venues, including nightclubs, from Wednesday.
MPs also voted to back compulsory face masks in most indoor settings.

I cannot have these jabs, but I havent seen anyone trying to stop people getting any of theirs??
You seem to love labeling anyone who has used their right, to refuse these jabs as anti vaxxers?? I know a few who haven't had theirs, but are certainly not anti vaccine, just they dont feel that this new experimental one is for them! Their choice.
Another concern is the "voluntary" jab army, seem to be causing concerns around no aspiration taken place of the jab(a must!) Thus allowing the jab to enter the bloodstream, rather than staying put in the muscle(intramuscular) as intended.
There are some new vaccines that have just been approved for use, that use the traditional method of vaccines that have been used for decades, these are from Cuba, and include a nasal version.
I am currently waiting for my gp to do research on these, as they could be suitable for use by myself.
And could persuade others who were concerned about the new type currently being used.
But to say the anti vaxxers will be the ones to moan is not fair, as I know most people around my ways will also moan, and some a lot more than the un vaccinated, about lockdown/restrictions etc! The complaints I hear are along the lines of" we've had all our jabs, yet still face restictions and possibly more lockdowns"
Next it will be the unvaccinated peoples fault for the restrictions being introduced, when it's clear that isnt the case, wont stop the finger pointers though!

Thats fair enough! But that HAS to work on both sides of the fence? What about those trying to bully, coerce, and even suggest "punishnent" to those who after all have made THEIR choice, as have those who have been vaccinated??
As for myself, ive yet to see one post that considers the predicament of thise of us who for varying reasons, cant have the jab, it seems we are always cast in with anti vax groups, and it gets annoying after a while! I didnt see your pist as was in bed kipping not long after.
I have led my life with restrictions/limitations,and find these ones that we have gone through more of a pain if im honest!
Anyone that "actively" tries to make someone have or not have the vaccine is whats wrong in truth, people do the same at abortion clinics etc, trying to force women to change a decision that must have been very difficult decision for the woman in question, as its them who have to live with it, nobody else!
Ive lived by the motto,of live and let live,im no different over this, its not my choice its theirs.
