I don’t mind losing, and we have done really well for the past couple of months to avoid doing so, and also playing some excellent football. However, today City were very poor, especially in defence, and a great deal can be blamed on the stupid passing out of defence, which accounted for the first goal today. Plymouth were a big, niggly team who proved too much for our defence. Osho and Chambers were particularly bad today, and was surprised that the former was not substituted at half time. What has Lawlor got to do to get a game these days - he must be extremely frustrated! Why was Wintle dropped today, as we missed his work in midfield? Unfortunately, Joël Colwill did not play well today after his recent excellent performances. To add more frustration and bewilderment to the team selection, Kpakio was brought on for the last 20 minutes or so!
Having said all that, Plymouth thoroughly deserved their win.

We've always had a poor defence. Last season showed it, today has showed it and many games this season have showed it.

We dominate possession and have too much quality for most teams at this level, so we win most games and we're top of the league.

When teams are able to get at us though, it's a completely different story.

Lawlor is the only centre back I would keep next season. Our current centre backs are not good enough, I would offload them all and replace them all with more commanding, physically dominant leaders.

If we could get another Bamba or Morrison to partner Lawlor, I will be happy enough, but today has showed if we get promotion, our defence needs to be improved massively.
