mate it don't much matter to me if its 9,999 or 10,001.. seems to be eating away at you though. so thought the SWP email might be a good idea, but if you know that the result will only undermine you . fair enough.

Besides, in a few years 10,000 will be the sort of crowds you can only dream about, like 15 years ago

Why would it be eating away at me? Goats read planetswans, saw a single comment and decided to run with it on here :laughing6:

I understandably questioned his source and rubbished the conclusion.

When the day is dawnin'
On a Texas Sunday mornin'
How I long to be there
With Marie who's waitin' for me there
Ev'ry lonely city where I hang my hat
Ain't as half as pretty as where my baby's at

Common knowledge posted on PS

“I’ve just looked it up. It was actually the home game against Blackburn, not Millwall, - a Wednesday night, not many away supporters, pouring down with rain and it was available on Sky TV.
I don't know whether you were there but I thought it was less than half full. Half the seats of my row of mainly season ticket holders were empty.
I guessed 9000 and the official attendance was given as 14162 - there was laughter when they announced the attendance on the tannoy with, of course, the inevitable "thank you for your fantastic support"

The source was there as was my cousin. Dint let facts get u down. Bore off roathie

Aye that's what I said, your source was one guy, your cousin. :laughing6:

If I say my cousin says there was 3,000 at your last home game, does that make it true?

thing is mate when the whole world thinks the earth is flat and you do not , well its down to you to do the proving.
9k odd seems to be the consensus ,personally i think it was just under 9 but eh oh..
oh if only youd go and prove the world isn't flat.

I take the view of common sense, always.

If someone said the world was flat, I would side with the facts and ask for proof of the wild claim. If the flat earther came back and says 'my cousin says it is''... I think im entitled not to be swayed :laughing6:

Pretty standard response don't you think?

trouble is you've aligned yourself to a correct and majority view in your example.
where the reality is you would be the flat earther in most threads , certainly in this thread,

There is no majority view, there are facts and conspiracy theories.

The official view is that there was 14,000+ people at a certain match. One person that we don't even know exists allegedly told goats he thought there was less.... :laughing6:

Until there is proof of that, it is probably as nonsense as it sounds.

You obviously don't come to ccs as our attendances are always 21k+ even when theres not that many in ground ? Why because we have that many st holders but they all dont come especially midweek . Dont need to count every person there to know not 21k in ground... so officially 21k is attendance even if only 15k there. : not rocket science thumbup:

Agreed. That is because many bought while still in the PL.

Next year the difference between your official attendance and the actual one will be a lot less, which is why the large disparity is unbelievable without sufficient evidence to support it.

Can you show me 4 people in the world (not ones that were not there) who back the claim? Just 4 single people, we can count goat's alleged cousin to if you need.
