Posession and performance (or bollocks as you refer to it) are the things that allow the goals, you dont just pluck goals from nowhere. The better you play the more you score. The worse you play, the less you score.

So by default, performance is very important. If you dont think so then it may explain why you havent scored for 4 games

Dont see what options he had in fairness, we dont have a replacement for Bony. There is no way Marvin Emnes can lead the line on his own with 4 or 5 Palace defenders to contend with.

At the end of the day the goal we conceded was an incorrect penalty decision. First half was terrific, second half we were clearly depleted with arguably the most key defender, midfielder and attacker taken off injured or sick.

but you can only match the stat to the time frame. You cant show a stat that was valid for the forst half and match it up with the second half.

We had 83% and as a result of that dominance we went in 1-0 up. Crystal palace had more possession in the second half and played the better football and they won the second half 1-0 - its no coincidence.

It sounds condescending in the extreme and you don't know yet if you are out of the relegation scrap. I'll be surprised if you do go down (unless your form dips or you have a run of injuries/suspensions) but you cannot be discounted 100% especially as there's 30 points+ for teams to play for - that statement is at best you getting carried away as you were winning at half time, or at worst you are clearly not thinking straight.

Going back to Manning for the last time he was playing sensationally well for the first two quarters and at half time the pundits were saying that with his stats the Broncos should have been out of sight at half time. They weren't. Nor were you today even though you had nearly all the possession for 45 minutes.

As another Swansea fan has posted, "sensational football, lined with pure dominance" you have to look at Liverpool's first half performance against Arsenal. THEY dominated and were out of sight at half time. Whether it was sensational is up for debate but it was dazzling to watch (in my opinion) and if you ran a poll to football fans which 45 minutes of football they would consider was more sensational and dominant then I wouldn't mind guessing there would be only one winner.

Like I've said previously you do post some reasonable comments/debate on times, I'm not stupid enough to ignore that. But there are times when I read some of what you write and I just shake my head and can understand why you have the reputation you do.
