If a Champions League club didn't want him then they wouldn't have bid or even enquired, the fact they have (even though you decide to not believe) proves as much.
Ill reiterate - IF a CL club genuinely wanted him they would have got him and not worried about paying £10m. If they saw him as a first team player £10m would be a small fry for them. How you fail to see this is beyond me.
And yes I believe Jenkins over you, even if I thought he was prone to lies. As for the newspapers, they've never made stories up or stretched the truth now have they?![]()
Until he moves to a CL club then my stance is fact whereas yours remains pure speculation
PS neither Liverpool or Everton are CL clubs
You can reiterate as much as you like. you are clearly wrong

bale is an attacking player and young, Williams is an ageing center back. im not comparing them at all, im showing how your logic is nonsense... again.

The nonsense is you trying to back your speculation and desperate case by using Bale![]()
The best bit is that I'd love to be proved wrong and some CL team buys him, but I won't be holding my breath.

Its not a fact as I showed with Gareth Bale, another Champions League quality player that doesn't play in the competition. So certainly do dispute it. You said he isn't a champions league player because he doesn't pay for a champions league club, your words not mine, which of course I have shown to be nonsense.![]()
All chairmen are liars, its in their job description. Hence why you now play in red

Spurs compete for a CL place, Swansea don't. Bale will play CL either with spurs or another CL team. Williams won't IMO - do you think he will?
makes no difference. they aren't in it
You can get a so called CL quality defender for only 10m - why won't teams pay it?
because hes aging and a center back.
Bale will cost c£80m and probably £150k+ per week. Very few teams can afford him.
barca could, real could, psg could but they haven't, must mean hes crap
Slight difference

Every player is ageing. I would say 28 for a centre back is his prime and could easily have 4 years at the top. So again I ask why CL teams haven't signed him for a mere £10m which reflects age and position anyway. Or since he's been so good for so long, why haven't they signed him when he was 25 or 26 or 27?
Could it be.......................he's not good enough

I can feel you squirming so you desperately try and twist my words. My case is and has always been if willliams is CL quality why haven't teams bought him for a bargain 10m? In his prime at 28 too.
The obvious answer is that they don't rate him and all your stubbornness to answer questions or deflect with other names doesn't change that.
Done to death now so let's see what happens this transfer window / season as to who's right (clearly me)

yeah squirming as Tottenham are clearly in the Champions League this year![]()
Ive answered your question several times. There are many champions league quality players that haven't been acquired by the champions league teams chasing them. Bale and Williams are just two, you will have to ask Arsenal and Real Madrid respectively as to why they haven't signed yet. If they didn't rate them they wouldn't be after them you plank

Brendan Rodgers must convince Liverpool’s owners to relax their strict transfer policy to ensure his pursuit of Ashley Williams reaches a successful conclusion.
Liverpool have identified Williams as one of their prime targets this summer and Rodgers would like to bring Swansea’s captain in to replace the soon to be retired Jamie Carragher. Arsenal, who had a £9million bid rejected for Williams in January, are also firmly interested.
Williams, though, was a boyhood Liverpool fan and would favour a move to Merseyside but he is likely to cost in the region of £12million and Fenway Sports Group have implemented a strategy that means they do not sign players over the age of 23.
The Belgian international, 24, has been watched by Newcastle and Everton but, earlier this week, he stated his preference would be to join Liverpool. Like another Liverpool target at Ajax, Christian Eriksen, Alderweirled only has 12 months remaining on his current contract and would cost £7million.
This is going to be a pivotal summer for Liverpool and Rodgers appreciates the need to ensure whatever business he does is completed swiftly, as was the case in January when Daniel Sturridge was drafted in within 24 hours of the window opening.
Rodgers wants to be in a position where the majority of the new faces he recruits are in place for when pre-season training begins in July, so the group is settled before they embark on the task of trying to regain their Champions League status.
yawn.
‘Yes, I think it’s very important to get players in as quick as we possibly can,’ said Rodgers, whose side travel to Reading tomorrow. ‘I think we will be in a much stronger place because we have much of the structure of the team already done.
‘So (this summer) it is all about sprinkling more quality into it – and a bit more depth – and I am confident we can do that. Everyone is working very hard and everyone is in unison with what we are trying to do. If we get some good work done early, it will help us start well next season.’
Liverpool’s efforts were compromised last summer by a failure to act decisively but Rodgers and his staff have moved to ensure there will be no repeats by having two or three different options of similar quality lined up for the positions they want to fill.
‘The recruitment team has regular meetings to establish where we are in terms of the targets,’ said Rodgers. ‘There is a process we go through. There is still some work to do but I’m confident we have a pattern of work, the players are there and it’s about the availability and players we can
