We all want BBM to succeed but unfortunately this level is too much for him , we got to be ruthless and we need to make manager changes if this continues. We will be relegated by Xmas

We've battered them without scoring. What improvement in tactics do you suggest??

Game, set and match, Bolton!

Massively disappointing, but that’s how our luck rolls at the moment!

Proud of our lads and the way they played overall, though! :ayatollah:

FINAL SCORE: BOLTON WANDERERS 1 - 0 CARDIFF CITY (90+4 minutes)

Back to league one is looking likely even this early but at least we’ll be pushing for promotion next season. :banghead:

It's a, shambles of a season. 2 keepers on the bench. BBM has lost the plot.

I really can't see why BBM shows so much loyalty to Tanner,

Evidence so far is we’re heading back down. Nobody can really say anything different.

Statistically we’re heading for around 27 points, and these are our easy games. Derby, Stoke, Bolton, Portsmouth are in our bottom mini league and we’ve failed to beat them.

Sorry but we’re heading for the drop.

What an incredibly disappointing and overreacting comment!

Build up play too slow .
Wingers are atrocious.
We are not scoring goals for a reason , we want that extra touch . Not direct enough . Looking to score the perfect goal .
Playing pretty football doesn’t win football matches putting the ball in the net does , it’s a simple game and the only stat that matters

You can't blame the tactics. We're creating more chances than teams like West Ham, Wolves and Boro, who have squads worth £200m+.

We should have won four games this season, and we've absolutely battered three teams in Bolton, Sheffield United and Stoke.

We're playing some of the best football I've ever seen as a Cardiff fan, and I'm incredibly grateful to have BBM. He's clearly an outstanding coach to be getting this level of performance from a squad assembled on a relatively tiny budget and made up largely of academy players.

However, today, his in-game management didn't help the team.

Tanner should have been hooked at half-time. Whether he was exhausted or simply having an off day, he continually gave the ball away and didn't influence the game anything like he did against Stoke.

Salech continually wasting chances is becoming a real problem. Against Sheffield United, Stoke and again today, he's missed chances that nine times out of ten you expect a striker to score. That's not just being unlucky anymore.

People are saying the header was a great save, but if the Bolton player at the end had headed his chance straight at Trott, we'd have called that a good save too. It doesn't suddenly make it a good finish.

There's simply no excuse for missing a chance like that. From that position, it's arguably an easier opportunity to score than a penalty — you have to be finding the net.

For me, the bigger mistake is not having a Plan B on the bench. Even if Robinson's legs have gone, we've reached the point where he has to be given an opportunity.

The performances are there. The football is there. The chances are there. We just have to start putting them away.

Last one!! Give Kpakio a chance instead of Tanner!!

Still trying to calm down after that result - 2 years on the trot they do us in the last few mins.

Changes - Tanner needs dropping, use Ashford from the start. Ollie seems to act like a petulant child at times, I saw BBM have a word with him with 15 mins to go, almost like cajoling him.

Changes - Salach, dropped. His confidence is shot, use Robbo and then in last 30 mins bring him on, use hima as an impact sub.

Changes - Chris Willock, stop cutting back inside, try and get to the bye line for once - we know you can score some good goals cutting in, but at present its nor working.

Changes - final one TAN if you have no intrest in us, foxtrot oscar!!!

Just some observations, and hoping the cider I have now will calm me.

Oh, and lots were kicking off outside with the gobby Bolton lads, don't think Bolton won that one!
