Absolute rubbish. When was the last time we lost a game?

Agree. Poor 1st comment.
But we have been poor and conceding 5 is poor but we shouldn't be too concerned
Plymouth been playing well off late and this is the game that we lose our run but now start again

Never a 5-2 game, but one of those days. Substitutes weakened us today.

We have 4 hybrid backs. All can play full back and centre half, and are pretty good with the ball. Add a smaller DM, and we just look terrible every time the ball is in the air.

Lesson learned for BBM

He’s not from Lincoln ffs

Yeah his history is refereeing in the North before getting onto the National panel. That says to me he’s from up North.

He works in Lincolnshire hence why Lincolnshire is being said.

However, him being from Lincolnshire means nothing.

We’ve been outplayed today, if you want to blame your weird conspiracy theories then crack on.

Lol. Just a bit. But in fairness I did reverse a bit when I saw he brought Rubin on.

Although Plymouth deserve the win, It’s been a real disjointed performance. I don’t quite get the subs, it’s like he’s trying to get everyone game time. I guess we had to lose sometime, it’s just the manner in which we’ve been beaten. Let’s hope other teams slip up and on to the next game.

Have we had a blip this season? All teams go through a sticky spell. I hope this is just a freak result and nothing more.

Perfect result at perfect time.

Strange sentence, i know.

But look back after each defeat, we have bounced back and gone on a good run.
If that form continues with games coming up, this could be the perfect time to suffer a loss.

I know BBM has worked wonders and yes I know we are top of the league but can someone please explain to me why we didn't play from the start (especially in view of Cleverly's comments that we are weak on set pieces) or at least bring on when we were punished in the air time after time, didn't BBM bring on Will Fish because to watch the likes of Ruben Colwell trying to challenge in the air in our box from set piece after set piece was bloody soul destroying. I wouldn't be surprised after today if we don't face an aerial bombardment in every game we have left because after that game I suspect there will be an army of managers licking their lips!! No medals today for BBM I'm afraid!!

I don't understand why if everything good in the first half came down our right we have hardly passed the ball to Tanner in the second half.

Any criticism of the manager tinkering with the team is undeserved. In BBM we trust.

However, I Have been saying for ages that can’t play Robinson (very lazy) with R Colwell (not the most athletic).
So many times we did it under Riza and we would invariably lose.
Robinson or Colwell might score but THE TEAM would lose. Its a TEAM game.
As the Argyle commentator said we have been much worse since the changes Please Mr Murphy don’t play them together and (please no more than 10 mins for Robinson).

Hopefully just a blip and we get back on track next week!.

Very interested to see how we bounce back at Doncaster. We’ve always done well after a loss so let’s do it again. COME ON CITY! The players need us more than ever.

We lost all shape in the 2nd half. Neither (IMO) Rubin or Robertson are disciplined enough to be the holding player. If you want to know what Wintle does, he allows the other to play as he holds it all together.

I agree. Bringing Ruben on ruins it everything try’s to go through him he have a bad first touch do a few circles a flick her a flick there a pass sideways or backwards if he hasn’t lost possession. Tanner direct agressive scares defenders. They must be laughing at us.

As strong and composed as Osho and Chambers looked against Bradford, they seemed shaky from the very start today. Credit to Plymouth’s front two they’re a real handful but defensively we were well short of the standard required. Maybe constantly changing the centre-back pairing disrupts rhythm, but it’s been the same story all season.

It’ll probably be Fish and Lawlor away at Doncaster, and neither Osho nor Chambers could have any real complaints about that. They're experienced pro and they'll be hurting.

Always knew this would be a tough game today. No over reactions needed! They'll be ready to bounce back like they've done previously this season.

not been our game today
poor defending cost us

Lawlor and fish should return instead of osho and chambers
chambers gave away a penalty

also probably give bagan a bit of a rest with the new liverpool left back playing in his position
for a few games, bagan has had a poor game today

Yes, I was a little concerned when he chose Rubin, as I just can't imagine he can be match fit for a challenge like this.
But we can't complain really.
Overall, a fabulous season so far.
Put this match behind us and get back to winning ways next week.
But it is a warning that our defence can be fragile when put under pressure.

This is evidence, if any were needed, that a 442 formation is not archaic and works perfectly well, as Plymouth have just demonstrated!

Agree fantastic season. It’s a one off game the usual suspect will be out in force shortly. But I’m not concerned.
Only thing that concerns me is Ruben is fit again. (At least as fit as he can be )
