They are facts, simple as that. If you wish to prove the figures are different then be my guest friend, but again - you woukd be wrong... Which is your choice as we have established :D

They may be facts. I just hope you have'nt taken these from the transfermrkt website, as their player values are estimates.

Think transfermrkt have iproved greatly resent years. Got their transfer rates pretty right, and calculating on the players moving up or down in the world..Looked at Fulham last night, seems they are on the up since the Magath..

Of course all player values are estimates. I dont think anybody thinks that each player has a fixed transfer price tag and barcode like a shop, transfer fees are negotiated. But these are generally estimated from transfer fees paid, clubs media valuations etc. they are the same for every club, so while these specific figures may not be to the pound they will be there or there abouts enough for a fair comparison.

I have used this website many times to check up on transfer rumours amongst other things. While it is a good site, it is widely accepted that their team valuations are often way wide of the mark. It is a German site I believe, and you only need to take a look at some of our top teams and their players and you can see that the valuations appear to have little resemblance to the true figure. They use some sort of equation to estimate values, and have said themselves that it may not be an accurate assesement.

All teams and players are judged using the same criteria, while the figure of transfer values may not be to the pound, their relation to other clubs in their league will be the same as a result. I don't think anybody can genuinely make a case for Cardiff being anywhere but mid table on the squad value front.... Can they?

I'm not convinced our squad is worth that much, don't tell Tan, he'll sell them all tomorrow. ;)

One of it's main problems is that it sticks to a rigid equation. It does'nt take into account the likes of Cornelius who cost us a fortune while being worth peanuts. I find it a good site for many bits of info, but not player valuations.

Yep, transfer fees are facts. Transfer valuations are simply valuations, but each olayer is judged the same so the positions of the clubs will barely change if all players actually sold tomorrow... Unless of course you think Cardiffs squad is one of the most valuable... Do you? :D

Gym? At this hour?

Mine? I have not sold anyone. As for the transfer fees, they are readily available on various sources, because that is what they were sold for. Documented. :D

You are just arguing for the sale of arguing because your obsession has made some sensible points, many people do the same, its nothing I have not experienced daily on here. Do you think that Cardiff have spent more or less on transfer fees than the table says? If so, which ones?

The white flag has been raised then? You could have just accepted the facts 2 pages ago and contributed to a decent debate. Oh well.

Please, if you are going to use caps to draw attention to the word, spell it correctly. It will make you look less of an idiot, but only slightly :laughing6:

Its no secret Tan is trying to make the club self sufficient (Which most of those now moaning about not spending have been asking for!?!?!) so if we save a couple of million now that can be added to the budget in the summer then whats the problem?!?!?!

That's in a nutshell
