I see what you're saying, but I think the reason people feel so strongly about trump is 1) because his policies will directly effect us and the rest of the world 2) America seems "closer to home" than china, Saudi Arabia and other countries

I get that Jim but the spread of Wahhabism is down to Saudi, China makes decisions that ultimately affect British jobs and North Korea like the other two has a shocking human rights record. I believe in Left Wing circles it's normal to attack the USA but not Communist China.
