I see what you're saying, but I think the reason people feel so strongly about trump is 1) because his policies will directly effect us and the rest of the world 2) America seems "closer to home" than china, Saudi Arabia and other countries

I get that Jim but the spread of Wahhabism is down to Saudi, China makes decisions that ultimately affect British jobs and North Korea like the other two has a shocking human rights record. I believe in Left Wing circles it's normal to attack the USA but not Communist China.

Very dangerous path the courts in USA are going ,they have kept open borders which is wrong, a country should be able to control who comes in and out

I don't disagree and know they've been throwing their muscle around in the Soth China Sea annexing islands, my point is none of the usual suspects, Antifa, SWP, IMG, and various stundent groups have hit the streets in mass protest. Imagine if the Yanks annexed Cuba.

But he wasn't banning them was he ? Which the left ain't happy about, they will have to be extremely vetted first which also the left ain't happy about. Now if you you go to work in schools or with kids you need to be vetted. (Quite correctly) So where is the Left in there uproar ?
To me to vet from certain countries is essential and common sense. But then again the left don't do common sense do they ?

The lefties are ridiculous only kick off when it suits them and turn a blind eye to a lot of things that go on in the UK and the rest of the world
