No, he has hired a cleaner, restructuring the management and is looking to invest in another football club, that support my theory and not asset stripping while looking for a way out.

I dont think it supports your theory at all. Hes bought another football club that could well be his preferred project. A team already red and not a team that will rebel against it.

Why another username btw?

Out of curiosity. What would it look like if it where supporting a restructuring theory? About the user name, it wish I knew and I want it back.

Restructuring is not being debated, the reasons for it are. Restructuring happens all the time. We have had new backroom changes in recent months, doesnt mean we are having any sort of change of plan.

You can construe anything as restructuring. However the reasons can be vast, that is where we look at finances to see what is the most likely cause for restructuring. Otherwise anybody that restructures means there is a ling term plan in place which is ridiculous - it goes without saying. Selling Caulker and buying a cheaper defender is restructuring, however it is also a sign of restructuring to asset strip. Re-structuring isnt a sign of anything in reality.

I must say you are very confusing both of you. Both the OP and you Mr Roath. It is almost like not recognising what is happening right in front of you eyes, but rather what you wish for. I'm not sure to take you serious or laugh.

Don't you think that the OP and I think that about your theory?

If you think he is going to continue to pump millions in year after year then you are barking. Yet restructuring to an extent where you are self sufficient will almost certainly not bring any sort of reward for a very long time, possibly decades.

I am not sure why you are crediting me with an argument I never said. And I'm not sure how to continue this discussion on a serious level.

Restructuring and pumping millions in are two very different things. And yes, restructuring was my argument against your day trade view of the matter. Would you like me to copy paste the argument or do you manage to scroll back? But seriously, when you suggest he bought a feeder club to be his main business focus there isn't much more to say is there..I'll leave you to it.

The fact you think Beira Mar is a feeder club shows a distinct lack of knowledge of European football.

Beira Mar won't be a feeder club for Cardiff. If this was a good idea, why wouldn't the top clubs have lesser sides dotted all over the world? If you can't grow your own talent at home, you are less likely to grow it away from home.

Then there's the notion that Cardiff players can go there on loan. The players will hate it!! Transplanting youngsters abroad will not work because of the language barrier, as well as a natural desire to play in the UK.

Where I think Tan will make some headway is in the spreading of expertise in terms of the financial running of his other clubs. His trusted inner circle will be gaining experience all the time which will to an extent be transferable. Tan sees this as an expanding portfolio like any of his other ventures. It is a franchise model in effect.

The ultimate aim with a franchise is to sell and I feel this will be his ultimate aim with Cardiff. The more involvement he has in football, the more credibility he will have for a potential buyer.

It's an opinion, so feel free to knock me down. :thumbright:

I have to agree with Annis tan will go at the end of the forthcoming season no matter what choo the financial expert is here to find ways tan can recoup most of his money.
