Interesting a Jack put a stat up earlier and Bony goals have only gained you 1 point in the PL.

Because Laudrup makes moronic decisions often regarding Michu and am sure the result of his return would see him in some capacity return to the striker role again, much to the annoyance of him and everyone else..

Michu has scored 0 while playing up front so ill take Bony's point please.

You telling porkies again?

0 points? He scored in your 2 nil win at Palace.

Also a quick scout of your last 4 PL fixtures and youve had your first choice defence playing bar Rangel at Villa and he come in as a sub so that was selection based not injury.

No point debating with another liar in this thread ive wasted enough time as it is.

Goodnight

Hansen on NOTD2 reckons the jacks have been worked out with no variation in tactics.
Didn't seem to buy the injuries line.
All about opinions.

Rangel - missed 32% of our prem games
Davies - missed 16% of our Prem games
Chico - missed 16% of our Prem games
Williams - missed 16% of our Prem games
Vorm - missed 48% of our games
Tiendalli - hasnt been fit enough to play after nagging injuries for what seems like all season.

Not to mention our defensive midfielder role in which we now have to play a center back Jordi Amat.

Now stop trolling theres a good lad.

Says hes scored 4 goals. Of which I know one was in a win v Palace so his PL goals have gained 3 times as many points as Bony has gained.

Wether he scored from AM or ST is irrelevant its still 3 points.

No coincidence since hes been out your form has nose dived.

No comeback to my showing up your porkies about your defensive injuries?

Why lie?

Stop feckimg moaning and ask why you are getting so many injuries???

Europa, or is it that your team is getting older, or maybe the training and conditioning is wrong ???

It's not going to get any better anyway, you are still in Europe and your season started early. I always said it would have a negative effect on the second half of the season, and that it would get worse the longer the season went on. You disagreed because you had two different teams one for the Europa and another for the league, now it's we've got injuries, no shit Sherlock :laughing6:

 im not moaning. Im telling you why our team is bare at the moment.

I am fully aware the Europa has been testing on our players. But I wouldnt swap it as I have no concerns over relegation what so ever.

We are mid table and 6 weeks worth of points ahead of you including the GD. Depleted teams and Lack lustre and performances are a great trade off if you ask me, very happy indeed

Of course its going to get better. Now we are in the knock out stages we play 1 europa away game a month... Thats if we progress which is unlikely.

Please stop saying "you said" when referring to other people and trying to credit me with it, theres a good lad. .... Although we have coped. We are in the last 32 of Europe and in mid table, so whoever said that - is probably right.

Re: Spurs all over jacks

Using your own stat hes played AM more than ST this season, add that to the point you saud he only played up front because NBony was not fit I am failing to see why you think he will come back in as a striker especually as you argued so vehmenently against it on the infamous Bony thread?

The fact is with Michu in a Swansea side they score on average more points per game than when he isnt so to claim his return wouldnt really help is not backed up by statistic.

As for the defensive injuries you claimed Michus return wouldnt help as "our injuries ARE on the wing and in defence
generally". Not "have been" or "were" and clearly talking in the present and not the past.

Youve had your first choice back four available and playing for a while now so telling porkies again.

The irony is you are making up all these silly excuses and contradictions just because you said you were glad Michu was out and dont want to admit that with him Swansea are far better than without him.

Re: Spurs all over jacks

"6 weeks worth of points ahead of you."

Is that the same six weeks worth of points that could be totally wiped with a win for Cardiff & a loss for Swansea?

Why not just say three points? Oh... Because it doesn't sound as far off as "6 weeks worth of points".

of course I argue against it. If Ole was putting Frazier Campbell in goal to terrible effect, it wouldnt make hi, a goalkeeper. Michu is not a striker but gets played there often. Even if it means Bony getting subbed, Shelvey going into midfield and Michu up front. Just because he starts in midfield, he doesnt necessarily end the game there.

The best combination for me is Shelvey and Bony. So your point am I still glad hes out - not glad hes out but glad Laudrup is now forced to play the best combo. No point in muchu coming back to play on the wing.

The fact is with Michu in a Swansea side they score on average more points per game than when he isnt so to claim his return wouldnt really help is not backed up by statistic.

again, it depends where he plays and who he plays instead of.

As for the defensive injuries you claimed Michus return wouldnt help as "our injuries ARE on the wing and in defence
generally". Not "have been" or "were" and clearly talking in the present and not the past.

Vorm is presently injured as is Tiendalli, Williams, Davies, Chico and Rangel have been injured and of course our defensive midfielder Canas is now injured too.

Dyer is currently injures as is Hernandez... Whats your point?

Youve had your first choice back four available and playing for a while now so telling porkies again.

the defence isnt just 4 players, its a unit. Our goalkeeper has missed half the season and our defensive midfielder is currently out as well as all our back 4 being out for at least 16% of the season at some point. We are only half way in

The irony is you are making up all these silly excuses and contradictions just because you said you were glad Michu was out and dont want to admit that with him Swansea are far better than without him.

as usual i stand by everything I say. I would much prefer Bony and Voldermort. If Michu coming back means this partnership will be broken and Michu will be forced to play up front for games too - then im glad.

Sorry if this offends, may be something you just have to deal with Christopher :laughing6:

Is not irrelevant at all

Id suggest "recent weeks" is irrelevant. Is a game this week worth more points than 6 weeks ago then? No.

Look at my reply to you. We are talking about Swanseas injuries and I said "defence has been where most of our injuries have come from" .. Your deduction on the term recent weeks just differs from mine, not that when exactly they were injured makes any difference what so ever of course... As usual with your trolling arguments :laughing6:

Its not about "sounding" far off, its about reality.

You would need 4 points in reality to get ahead of us - and thats with us getting none what so ever.

On average it takes you about 6 games to get 4 points. That tells us how big the gap is more accurately than the point gap alone.

Saying a house is £100,000 so easily affordable is a bit misleading when the person you are talking to earns £4,000 a year. Its all about context.

How did you arrive at 16%?

Re: Spurs all over jacks

Mon Jan 20, 2014 12:17 am

Err you didnt say "defence is where most of our injuries have come from" at all :?

Another lie.

You said "in recent weeks Tiendalli, Vorm,Williams, Davies and Rangel have all been sidelined"
Aside from Vorm this is a lie.
Gone back 6 weeks and 6 PL games and these are my findings:
Williams started 6
Davies started 5 sub for the other
Rangel started 5 sub for the other
Tiendalli started the game Rangel didnt start.
Also Chico, who you didnt mention started 4, sub 1

So i think its fair to say in recent weeks your first choice back 4 has been available and your claim they have been sidelined in recent weeks is another lie.

You do not get more points for games in certain months. Our injury problems are and have been mainly in defence and on the wing. Attacking midfield hasnt really been an issue so Michu coming back doesnt change much, capiche? :laughing6:
