This isn't politics Barry, its sport. Do what you're suggesting and you give competing clubs all the ammunition they could want. Sport is war by proxy and in war you accept orders from your commanding officer or you go up against the wall.

The club came into existence for no other reason than to win football matches. It exists to oppose those outside the club, not those within it.

Anyone harbouring an agenda that might otherwise harm that objective in any way whatsoever should be considered The Enemy Within and removed immediately. If you are not with us, then you are against us.

Do you comprendez?

Call yourself a soldier? Your platoon just got usurped by the enemy and you fell into line in the manner of a sheep.

Oh and CCFC was set up by Cardiffians as a way of socialising and to celebrate a sense of local identity. winning football matches was secondary.

My Grandad watched city play in blue, as did my dad, so did I for the first 20+ years of being a city fan.

I miss standing in the grange end stinking of Ganja smoke and having away teams (try) to abuse us. But things change. Now we are one of the larger teams in the country instead of being another low league statistic.

Welsh football is on the up.

Red, Blue, Green. As long as Cardiff has a team I will support them. Just will wear a blue top.

I felt far more passionate about the club, and sang more, and even went to more away games last year as the pro-blue stuff gained momentum.

The pro-blue movement aid the atmosphere and in turn helps the players.

To call City fans in blue 'the enemy within' is as outrageous as it is false.

Can I ask, what if you supported a team from a city with two clubs?

A hundred and fifty years ago the British Army still used to fight in their bright parade ground uniforms. They could be seen from a mile off. Eventually they learnt to fight in camouflage uniforms. Doing so gave them an advantage.

Imagine if certain sections of the British civilian population took it upon themselves to meddle in army affairs and insist that our soldiers went back to fighting in parade ground uniforms? That is exactly that kind of ridiculous situation that Bluebirds Unite are creating.

In fighting battles, there must be a clear chain of command. Orders must come from the field marshall (owner) so that the foot soldiers (footballers) know exactly what they should be doing on the field of battle (the pitch) in order to win.

If you get interference in that chain, if outsiders start to meddle, confusion reigns and demoralization sets in. The troops now have two bosses instead of one and receive conflicting signals. Even though the soldiers have all the training and equipment they could want, they don't know who to follow.

Result : Catastrophe and the enemy wins.

We don't, so the question is academic.

When I look across the Severn to Bristol and see that they have two teams, City and Rovers, a part of me feels sympathy for Bristolians. They actually do have two clubs. They really are a house divided. Without doubt, if City and Rovers ever merged into one club then Bristol would have Premier League football overnight. How that must rankle them.

It is exactly that ludicrous division that Bluebirds Unite are creating and just the thin end of the wedge.

Bluebirds Unite are creating no division. That you seem to think they are says far, far more about you than them.

This march is a fantastic idea to show the world how passionate most BLUEBIRDS are, its a celebration of our history as the Cardiff City BLUEBIRDS it is not a march against Tan but will inevitably draw attention to the fact that we disagree with his change of kit colour and crest. We are going to have a huge turnout for this event. Cardiff a sea of BLUE as it should be on match days :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Yes it will make huge exposure for them but it will also piss off the guy who ha saved this club from everything bad of the past decade . He deserves a bit more respect than being embarrassed on live tv in front of the world . A celebration or demonstration it doesn't matter it will still look like a group opposing tan himself IMO . Why not save it for a different day we should all be together celebrating our return to the top flight not separated with a march . That day is a day for every city fan to savour not to be marred by the rebrand .

When would you suggest would be the most appropriate time to march?

Very good question?

Any game apart from this one ! This is meant to be our big moment , the game we've been waiting for a home game in the premier league against one of the best teams in the world . This day should be about realising the dream everybody has had for years and celebrating together the teams achievements not marching against a rebrand .

And this was not a thread against bluebirds unite it was a thread about the march on that day . I think they only chose it because it will gain massive exposure but it will have the opposite effect , tan will be pissed off , sky will concentrate on that more than our amazing achievement of getting to the premier league and once again if there's only a few hundred we will be a laughing stock amongst other fans .

I think that's exactly why it was chosen - 1st home game of the season. Cardiff City supporters are already percieved as a laughing stock by others because we did not stand up to the rebrand last season. Now a movement to keep the Blue alive is happening, fans are still a laughing stock? Whether it has an effect will not be known until its be done. You can't knock some for trying.

You mentioned you wanted the blue back, how would you go about it?

To me marches are protests whichever way you look at it . If you want to celebrate everything cardiff city why not organise a family day over slower park before the game say 11 - 2 where everybody wears blue , a couple of 5 a side games for kids bouncy castles and activities where everybody can join in . The money raised can then all go to an official charity .
Invite a few well known celebrity supporters to attend and also invite tan over the road to see for himself the strength of the fans feelings .
That's how to celebrate and positively protest not marching and chanting through canton . Plus they would get a lot more people attending and would be more visable .
Just my opinion though .
