How many of them played last season? 4? Graham played for a while but then you realised he was a bad egg and got shot. So 3 good signings in your first season in the PL.

There was me thinking with all your arrogance you were signing superstars in your first season too :laughing6:

Unfortunately you missed caulker who was superb and siggi who after xmas carried us. Two top draw players

They werent your players though were they.

No they weren't but thats not the point. They played fpr us and were critical to our survival

Oops! Just realised,wrong board. :laughing6:

Wow, he scored an hat-rick against a bunch of part timers you beat 10-0.

Cardiff City signed the new "George Best" a few weeks ago, thats how highly rated 16 yr old Gary Lavery is.
Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs were all looking at the lad but Cardiff jumped in and signed him. However,
I wouldnt say We got him AHEAD of those Clubs, chances are we just happened to grab him first. Perhaps the
other Clubs were undecided? Or why would a 16 yr old choose Cardiff City over Man Utd or Liverpool. But yes
of course, if you want to make it sound like this Donnelly chose Swansea over Liverpool... crack on :?

Daglish at the time was quotrd as saying yhey were interested and arsenal had him watched everton made a bigger bid than our initial bid then we bid higher. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7402537/Donnelly-joins-Swansea

"I know there was serious interest from Liverpool and Everton"

Try as i might i just cannot see where that can translate to Swansea being ''chosen'' over either Club.
See, that would mean those Clubs made him an offer. Cant see the Everton ''bid'' anywhere in your
article lad?

here try this:

"Cardiff City signed Gary Lavery despite Sir Alex Ferguson himself speaking to the boy on the phone to
try persuading him to go to Manchester United"

Yeh, i made it up. Looks good tho eh

The HEADLINE says you 'beat them to him'' the actual article does not. Only that both were interested
and did speak to the Club. Show me where Liverpool or Everton made an offer and the lad CHOSE you
OVER them and i'll hold my hands up. Until then..... :sleepy2: :sleepy2:

What like the link I posted in the post at the end of page 6 of this thread?
Maybe it would be a good idea if someone could read it for you as it has a few big words in it.

Northampton and Bradford are bigger than the jacks along with numerous other lower league clubs (Bristol City, Swindon, Charlton, Leeds, Brighton and Plymouth to name but a few)

Swindon, Charlton, Plymouth, Bristol City, Northampton?  lay off the cider Wilts. Leeds are a bigger club than both of us, You'll see how 'big' you lot are next season when you visit Manchester and the London clubs. In fact it will hit home just how small you are.
