The only solution is that moderates on both sides get in power and come to some sort of 2 state solution.

But there are very, very few moderates of any persuasion there. No elections in Gaza/West Bank since 1996 or 2006, so Hamas/Fatah stay in power. Israeli's assassinate liberal Prime Ministers (Rabin) or vote them out very quickly (Olmert)

They just see someone posting about Hamas and instantly jump at that persons throat for “defending IDF” without even reading the post properly. I’ve just reiterated that Hamas are evil too because I’m sick of seeing people gloss over everything they’ve done as if they’re the good guys and we should feel sorry for them.
