Learn some f*cking history. You dumb f*cking c**t.

I'll educate you.

Have you heard about the Kingsmill massacre?

'The Kingsmill massacre took place on 5 January 1976 near the village of Kingsmill in south County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Eleven Protestant men were taken from a minibus, ten of whom were shot dead by a group calling itself the South Armagh Republican Action Force. One man survived, despite having been shot 18 times. The group claimed that the attack was in revenge for the killing of six Catholics the night before.

A Historical Enquiries Team investigation into the incident found that members of the Provisional IRA had carried out the attack despite the organization being on ceasefire. It also found that the victims were targeted simply because of their religion. The report said that the attack had been planned some time in advance and the weapons used in another 110 murders or attempted murders.'

You really are a dumb f*cking c**t.

The difference is you stupid c**t is that I won't and never will make a pro-UVF, UDA or British Army thread.

Omagh bombing.

'The Omagh bombing was a car bomb attack carried out by the Real Irish Republican Army (RIRA), a splinter group of former Provisional Irish Republican Army members opposed to the Good Friday Agreement, on Saturday 15 August 1998, in Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Twenty-nine people died as a result of the attack and approximately 220 people were injured'

Re: IRA

Warrington bomb attacks.

'......Two small bombs exploded in litter bins outside a Boots store and a McDonald's restaurant, killing two children and injuring many other people. Although a warning or warnings had been sent, the area was not evacuated in time. Both attacks were perpetrated by the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA).....'

Another legit target?

Re: IRA

Ban Martyr he is a f**king clown.
The IRA murdered more innocent people than the 911 twin towers attacks.
Including Welsh soldiers.

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 12:48 pm

It's a myth that the PIRA were freedom fighters.

They ruled the Catholic parts of NI with a iron fist.

If you voiced a opinion against the IRA then they put a bullet through your knee.

'The Troubles' gave a lot of criminals and nutters a 'cause'.

They were not freedom fight.

But Martyr doesn't have a f*cking clue about any of that. He is just a f*cking idiot.

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 1:42 pm

sad thing is, you cant have a civilized discussion without abuse...

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 1:56 pm

There is no debate.

The PIRA were not freedom fighters.

There were killers and bullies even within their own community.

Anyone who wants to create a pro-IRA thread is a f*cking idiot.

Don't want abuse? Stay away from documentaries and read some books. Then you might get a better picture of 'The Troubles'.

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 1:58 pm

Thanks Hoffmesiter, this was going pretty well, untill this clown turned up! Throughout the thread I've condemned the PIRA! Looks as if you cant have an opinion, these days!

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:03 pm

I've been to Northern Ireland during the troubles, and i am not biased towards one side. If you dont want to participate in a thread about the IRA, that's fine. You got your opinion about them, that's fine also. But pls dont throw abuse at guys who use this board as a discussion forum (for which it is for).

We can argue if political discussions help our cause (which is Cardiff City).

Again, you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

You are the f*cking clown.

You don't even know that the Easter Rising had little public support and it was the British behaviour post that created a the drive for independence.

Where have I shown a bias?

All I've have done is take away the romantic view some idiots had of the PIRA.

Is it not true that they ruled Carholic areas with a iron fist?

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:09 pm

Who had the ideas about the PIRA then?

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:15 pm

You, for a start.

Wishing we had the same drive as the IRA and any other idiot who thought the IRA were simply standing up for their community.

They crushed any different opinion coming out of Catholic areas. Do what we say or will knee cap you or worse, you will end up on the side of the road with bullet wound in the head.

f*cking idiot.

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:17 pm

"Drive" as in the originals backing their country, now jog on

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:24 pm

This where you are a total f*cking idiot.

There was NO drive.

During the Easter Rising they were booed by the Irish as their read their statement.

There was NO public support.

It was actions of the British that created the movement for a free Ireland.

If the British had no shot the the Irish behind the Easter Rising there would of been no movement to drive the British out.

Prior to that, the vast majority were happy to live under British rule, just like the Welsh today.

Like I said, you don't have a f*cking clue......

martyr was misguided in his statment on hisop
we went through alot of this earlier in this thread
but in fairness he took a fair bit in and has stated he will try to look at it from every angle

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 3:31 pm

The problem with talking about Ireland on a message board is that the situation over there is very complex.
We could talk for days over it and still not get anywhere near a final answer. I've read loads of books from both sides on this subject and it's really difficult to give a true reflexion on it. Will add both sides of the troubles didn't come out of it very well and that includes the British army

Re: IRA

Fri Jun 15, 2012 3:31 pm

A couple of points.

Look at what happened to Collins.

Look have fast members of both the PIRA, UDA, UDF etc turned to drug dealing etc as soon as 'The Troubles' ended.

Your quite right most were glorified gangsters but a old saying was when you came out of prison was loyalists came out with muscles and the republicans came out with brains.
Collins was stitched by de- Valera he new Collins couldn't bring a united Ireland and saw his power slipping to collins.

Ban this prat, he is nothing but an immature child who knows nothing of what happened other there. The glorification of terrorism is too far, he has sought to justify the murder of hundreds of British soldiers INCLUDING WELSH MEN.

Collins assignation/murder HLs that those leading the indepandance movement had their own agenda and did not have Irish best interests in mind.

Like I said before and fully agree, 'The Troubles' gave gangsters a reason to murder.

Do you know why the PIRA and UDA, UFF etc were quick to give up their old WWII weopons and not their modern weopons?

Re-sale value........

Wales is British, hence why British troops do not need to be positioned here. Thankfully the majority of this country aren't little Dai Hitlers like you and see things unselfishly.

Are you willing to admit that Welsh people have served in the British army in Northern Ireland? :old:
