Weve just taken on 10 "Apprentices". All local kids. All 18-21. All on £100 a week to start off but they know the rewards are there if they work hard as approx 150 off our 250 workforce all started off at the bottom and got rewarded for hard work.
Some guys on the shopfloor earn minimum wage but theres plenty of overtime and some guys are putting in 72 hours a week. Are they workshy? No. Are some of them aged between 18-30 - most of them.

But by Jonnys logic we should all renage on our mortgages, work for a pittance, and live 3 familys to a small house just because some impoverished cretin from another country is awilling to.
but why does this government have to provide quality of life for you
all the government needs to do is make sure you have the basics and thats it
it doesnt need to provide you cash to go to the pub with
or pay your season ticket for the football
or pay for your 2 weeks in the sun abroad for your holiday

Correct. I said we have a quality of life, provided by "OURSELVES" that shouldnt then be put in jeopardy because some peasants are willing to live 3 familys to a small house?
As for the deadbeats, the locals are "scum" for taking the benefits, but you "cant blam" the immigrants?

THIS ISN'T HAPPENING.
Immigration does, shock horror, have positive effects. Such as allowing the low paid blue collar workforce to increase in size and efficiency. These (legal) immigrants, are not "stealing", but filling the jobs that many people would never consider. On the contrary, the high-skilled immigrants benefit the economy hugely and ironically create jobs.
Did you ever imagine that they simply possess a higher work-ethic and more qualifications than you? Being born in the UK does nor render you superior to those who immigrate legally. If a job becomes available, you are free to apply. If you are unsuccessful, it usually means that a more compatible candidate has been found. Nationality is an irrelevence.
The cliche argument against immigrants using the benefit system is a further fallacy. Obviously there are immingrants who have failed to find employment and are consequntly on 'jobseekers'. However, the majority of people on benefits are British nationals, and these are usually the people who complain about immigration. Furthermore, the majority of legal immigrants are in full or part-time employment.
Essentially, the UK has always attracted workers from abroad. Whether they are prospective doctors, or prospective shelf-stackers, jobs are not being "stolen" from British citizens. There is simply greater competiton and consequently a higher standard of worker, which should be encouraged if progression is desired.
We should abandon the immigration fallacy, as it simply stems from recession and ignorance. Please, ignore 'The Daily Heil'.

because quite frankly if its acceptable not to work in this country
why is not acceptable for immigrants to take advantage of the same system
why should they have to slug their guts out when the native population cant be bothered
and this government keeps letting them in and keeps letting its population not work
cheating the benefit system is a British disease and you cant blame others for taking advantage of it when they see the native population taking more money than they earn for doing f**k all

You still have not answered?
because quite frankly if its acceptable not to work in this country
why is not acceptable for immigrants to take advantage of the same system
why should they have to slug their guts out when the native population cant be bothered
and this government keeps letting them in and keeps letting its population not work
cheating the benefit system is a British disease and you cant blame others for taking advantage of it when they see the native population taking more money than they earn for doing f**k all
So the whole of this country cannot be bothered to workMore untruths from Proffesor Muddled
You moan about people generalising about immigrants when you are doing the exact same thing about the British workforce.
You still didnt answer the question and swerved around it but I wasnt expecting anything else tbh.
Anyway im out, Im bored of picking holes in your pathetic and contradictive argument. Feel free to have the last word you utter bore.

Oh, and I've I've emailed the EU and told them they no longer need to give aid to Merthyr any more because it's not really one of the poorest towns in Europe. It's all a lie, there's shit loads of jobs there really and their belief that it's got one of the highest rates of unemployment in the developed world is also wide of the mark. I told them Jonny said. Perhaps that's why all those Polish people are pouring in there. You've not been posting on any Polish job sites have you?![]()
