never mind celtic not being allowed into english football, when scotland eventually votes for independence(thank f**k),you taffs better get used to thought we english will want a bit of independence from the remains of the anti english UK.and about time.all the anomaly's associated with unionism will be removed...economically,culturally and sporting.we could have the english FA make all teams under their jurisdiction reapply for membership, those that fail to meet certain criteria are barred from ENGLISH football...not being english being the biggest failure(can't beat a bit of democracy),this would apply to all sports...rugby,cricket,hockey and of course football.we could go about repairing the damage done by the anti english celt led labour party, and repealling all the anti english legislation from the statute books.we could have proper closed borders,ID cards, visa's,passports, priority given to the english in all walks of life, over non english(which is what the rest of the former UK would be designated...alongside the rest of the world),you'd have your own currency(could be called the leek),taxes you raise you get to spend, taxes we raise we get to spend.there would be form of unionism.you'd have your own armed forces to pay and equip, and all non english would have to leave their posts in the english beaurocracy....total total separation.DVLA duties for england would have to be based in england...you could look after the rest..i could go on and on but you get the picture.......ENGLAND FOREVER BRITAIN NEVER.......

for those interested in the Northern Irish conflict, there is a good documentary by award-winning journalist Peter Taylor. It was televised on UKTV History and someone uploaded it on youtube.

The 3 major parties in the conflict are portrayed, it is done from a neutral perspective, Taylor didnt take sides in it. Key figures of the conflict are interviewed, incl. ex IRA/UDA/UVF etc paramilitaries as well as politicians or ex Army etc.

Before you make a judgement, watch all 3 Series (which will take some time), it is prob the best research, filmed and documented about the conflict, certainly the best I have found.

PROVOS (Sinn Fein & the IRA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuVmbkTDuHU
reflects on the history of the IRA, the split within the movement, how they became the largest paramilitary oranisation, prominent ex-members are featured and interviewed.

LOYALISTS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yDXbc9G1wk
shows how the loyalist movement started, what their motives were etc. Prominent ex-members get to speak as well, a well documented piece of history about the loyalist side

THE BRITS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpRGEZYKnd4
the 3rd party, came as peacekeepers and became targets for the nationalists. Here you see why...
Also very good, ex-Army and Policemen as well as politicians get their say

As I said, if you are really interested in history, this is for you. Take your time and watch it in full length, it's worth it.
