Looking at today, he is Robertson's replacement, as he looks destined for the 6 position with King as the backup

That seems to be the plan.

I'm unsure to be honest, despite how highly I rate the manager. I also think Robertson is a great player, but not a six.

BBM used Robertson as the six at the Man City academy so maybe this has been his plan all along.

Interesting that he played the 6 today and was the standout player for me. I think if he signs we may play with him and Dahl as the 2 ‘pivot’ 6s and Rubin as 10. Who knows though
