Ashford needs to come off. Awful today.

We're an hour in and for some reason our players still think the ref is going to blow for a foul & just stop playing, Stockport then walk off with the ball when we inevitably stop. Why are they not playing to the whistle? Isn't that pretty basic?

Didn't Lawlor use a quote this week in his pre-match interview saying we want to 'batter everyone' this season.

Wish he'd kept his mouth shut there tbh coz Challinor probably stuck that same quote up in there dressing room today to fire up his players. Like we haven't got a target on our back already.

Stockport reminding me of our League One (then Division 3) team of yesteryear, where we had some big units ‘bossing’ the opposition, but also having the ability to play a bit at the same time!

We are slowly coming more into this game, but we still need to be very wary of Stockport’s play; and the referee’s inability to spot the odd ‘pull’ or ‘swinging arm’

The iternational break and game cancelled has effected momentum plus 2 changes at the back stockport had no cancellation and a point to prove after loosing the other week

Refs never give fouls when there's a coming together ! And your right rule 1 play to whistle do that and we'll get the ball more

Wintle couldnt lace Norwoods boots, put him in our team and it's the difference. Suprised we havent put someone on him from the off.
