Only last season we were above you, and we'll have to wait and see what happens this season.

Prior to Swans going up, I think City were above Swansea for about 10 years running so it's swings and roundabouts on that one.

Over the course of our League history Cardiff have been above Swansea for two thirds of the time, sometimes a division or two higher, sometimes in the same division.

Attendances, we have been constantly above Swansea for 10 years, and likely to continue so. And pretty much for all our history except for the 90s and 2000s when it was 50/50. Yes our will fall dramatically next season unless we show some sort of promise, but Swansea will fall again, maybe down to 12000 or so except for the bigger games. I reckon ours will drop to pre Warnock figures of about 16/17000.

And we've got a better ground, and even with Harris a better manager.

The only thing we have the same is that neither of us will spend money this month, and things are getting worse for both of us.

They have had sub 10,000 crowd this season v Blackburn which was announce as 14000 and roundly laughed at by all in the stadium apparently. Next season will be even worse for them. No doubt we will drop to 18-20k. I don’t think anyone who renewed last season thought we’d still be PL This one.

That’s just another one of your Swansea based myths you like to peddle here, so people say it often enough they believe it - one of the key reasons I still grace this great land :laughing6:

Now then, I see a 14,000+ attendance... are you going to show me any evidence of your claim other than “a bloke I know said he counted them”?

Aye. :laughing6:

Our attendance will remain the same next as it is now at an average of 16,500-17,000. Yours will drop heavily for the reason you state, with averages of 17,500-18,000.

Your average this season on is 16200 not 16500-17000.

I thought you stuck to facts?

I also admire the way you say statements as if they are undeniable facts like "our attendance will remain the same"

You can't say that in a debate, you have no idea how the rest of the season will pan out, you have no way of knowing how many current season ticket holders are feeling.... Its pure speculation by you but you say it like its fact.

Heres a fact:

17-18 average attendance 20,623
18-19 average attendance 18,444
Current season 16200

See a pattern. Try starting a line with "I think" and maybe just maybe people might respond better to you.

Stop being so silly. The season has not ended, we are in and around the play-offs - our average this season will undoubtedly be in and around what I state, if you want to cry over a few hundred because you are unable to get a foothold in a debate then be my guest.

17-18 attendance we were in the Premier League
18-19 attendance we had sales from ST's that happened with the chance of staying in the PL
19-20 attendance is the true representation of our fanbase in this league, which is in and around the same figures last time at this level (a touch higher in fact as expected).

Common sense suggests there will be little deviation in this seasons attendance in relation to next seasons...

The same logic suggests you will see a drop of 4,000-5,000.

Yes it is. I saw it on a website a good few months back. If it wasn’t for years of abysmal attendances in the 80’s and 90’s, our average would have been a lot higher!

I wasn't asking it it was correct, it was more a case of asking what the point of the post was or relevance it had to the conversation. We were talking about current attendances and their potential drop offs after PL ST sales are out of the equation.

Maybe I should have said ''Riiiight? :? '' :laughing6:

You said your average this season is currently 16500 - 1700 - You were WRONG but you wont admit it you'll blete on about other dtuff to detract rather than say you got it wrong.

You completely miss my point again.

Youve told me stop being silly as "the seasons not over"

So i say about your claim attendance will remain same..... Stop being silly the seasons not over you don't know what will happen.

Ive tried to show you why your possibly so disliked, like a simple
rephrasing of "attendances will remain same" to " i reckon attendances will remain the same" but you are just an argumentative fuckwit who can't take anything onboard.

That's a lot of research, but surely Cardiff's attendance must be much higher than that? When i started going from 1969-71 we averaged 20k and Swansea about 2k,. Stop trying to make them two thirds as well attended as us!!!

This thread does go on and on
1) Jack makes a comment about how Swansea are better than us...
2) Cardiff fan rebuts it....

That’s not the sequence at all.

1) thread gets made dramatising a Swansea situation that does nothing more than make perfect sense.
2) Swansea fans point out that it was fully expected and needs to happen
3) Cardiff fans then decide to oddly make points about why they think they are better in a certain department
4) Swansea fan responds...
Repeat.

https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/ ... page:2/#53

Page 2 is it, read what vetchfielder says, he reckons 9000 actually there, my cousin who lives in Pembs and has been going for 20 odd years reckoned 10k. I guess you know better, partic as you never go hey. Wrong again loser

I did say that yes, and I am happy with the comment. If you want to quibble over 302 people because it excites you then you go ahead. It isn’t 16,200 either, it’s 16,198 if you think getting the number to the person is relevant to the point, in which case you are wrong.

Your point regarding attendance is very silly indeed, you are talking about 302 people as if it makes a difference to the debate when in fact trends show that indeed we will fall in that range as the season progresses to the end in any case, 302 people my friend - 302.... think about it.

I know exactly why I am disliked by some and that is the fact my posts are absolutely common sense unarguable - which is why the clowns have to resort to a typing error at times or what you do is take a clear ballpark figure in the “high teen thousands” and bludgeon a point about 300 people as if it impacts on the point at all :laughing6:

As I said, silly.
