Why would I deflect from my own realistic views?

Take the comments on board and agree it was very flippant of me. I apologise but seriously Bazza it must be hard being so negative continually

Maybe, maybe not; but TODAY we're playing Carlisle United and that is the focus right now! ;) :ayatollah:

Well said that man - you can only beat what's in front of you in the here and now.

Basing swans game on Wednesday and today performances? but who would have said lose 6nil after beating sheff wed? If only football was played in the mind wouldn't need to put team on pitch!

Correct BarryWelsh88 seems to be a glass half empty person.

BarryHumbugWelsh88 is more like a glass half smashed type of person. If he fell into a bag of tits he'd end up sucking his thumb.

You're still alive GES! :D Where the f**k have you been? I was getting worried :D

Haven't posted much of late Jim but all well and I hope with you too.

How am I being crass Sven? That is low from you. I am deflecting from nothing especially my own views. I view today as a disgrace on par with the last game what positive has actually come out of today?

Sadly, we've come to expect no more or no less from you and rather than celebrate Whyte and his equaliser, you'd prefer to find the negative when the rest of the game today is so full of them

Why would I ‘celebrate’ an equaliser against Carlisle? Do you believe whyte is capable of being a championship starter?

Seek help for your deep depression

Please don't joke about depression given the gravity of barker taking his own life recently, bit uncalled for tbh

I don't think BAMBA was joking, he probably does need help.

Well even if it wasn't a joke, I don't think having a slight downward look on life means he needs help, surely that's for him to decide. he could have actually sent him a private message asking if he's okay, rather than flippantly telling him to seek help for his "depression" just because he rarely posts positive things doesn't mean he's depressed, and given the reason why the players are wearing black armbands today, it's in bad taste, either be constructive and help if you are worried, but I'm doubtful that was the intent

Agreed mate. Apologies

It must be exhausting, but I relate, been suffering with depression for years, so I apologise too, it got my back up.

Mate I've had experience of it, mainly with friends. Stupid remark, especially in the current climate.

FULL-TIME: CARDIFF CITY2 - 2 CARLISLE UNITED

City will be relieved to still be in the FA Cup but a trick away game awaits :(

Poor again 21st in league 2 Carlisle are.

Must be Harris style that he’s said he’s starting to implement that is taking us backwards.

Oh well I look forward to his interview. No doubt a few aren’t fit and all that bollocks.

Swansea next at home trying to become the first team to do the league double in this fixture. It’s put up or shut up time Neil you won’t get any second chances from the fans after that game.

He’s got a week to sort it out in my book

No excuses he chose a strong team but the gamble didn’t pay off and we go into the derby on back of shipping 8 goals and two very bad results. Let’s see what Harris can do to get this team competitive for next week

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er hill and dale,
When all at once I spied a crowd,
And all as one they began to wail.
For Carlisle, the mighty club from North,
had scored a goal against the blues
And for all the shots we then brought forth,
I knew at once that again we'd lose.

And so ends yet another half
Where we are made to look the fools
Oh dearie me you have to laugh
Our side is just a bunch of tools.
Our defence is weak, the attack is blunt
And the manager has no clue
To a man they are a cnut,
I'm ashamed to say I am a blue.

Then all at once a mighty Scot
smashed one in from half a yard
I thought that we had lost the plot
But Pato, well he is a card,
And then another! From Gavin Whyte!
Planted with his head
So it looks like we aren't so shyte,
Well bugger me down dead!

Alas, once again tis but a draw
and off up North we go.
Why oh why we cant score more,
against a team so low!
Fear not, though chaps, for next is up
Some smelly jacks down west,
And though its league and not the Cup,
We'll need to be our best!

That was not a strong team.

Don’t forget Harris inherited this squad of largely average players and his league record of 4-4-2 is not bad.

It’s up to the club to give him some money this month and not have non football people deciding who’s worth coming in.

Yes it was 7 of those players played premier league football last season.

Carlisle are 21st in league 2.

It was a much stronger side then there’s

That was last season. None of our squad would get into the top championship teams. It is a weak squad and today’s starting team was full of average journeymen.

Our season is all but over unless the club sanction some quality players coming in. Who they are is up to Harris and not the ridiculous transfer committee, made up of non football people.

We have spent loads so don’t try to blame it on that. Simple fact is the players are putting in little effort/fighting spirit combined with the fact we still don’t seem to have any clear style of play implemented under Harris.
