So you accept you are and always have been a much smaller football club than us then cheers for clearing that up. Your about par with Bristol city similar number of seasons in top flight (though again unlike you they actually were runners up one year). We have almost double the amount of seasons as you in the top flight and are closer to the likes QPR or Palarse.
As for your greatest modern decade I would argue our ace to in Europe during this he late 60 and early 70’s far outweigh your achievements during your “golden spell” of 7 years in the prem.

It has nothing to do with playing at altitude, it just creates the environment that represents the oxygen levels at altitude, it means and ground level the body trains far harder meaning fitness increases - be that for a match up Mount Etna or Old Trafford.

It certainly was worth it and still is. We just had the most successful decade in Welsh club history, certainly since colour TV was invented, our facilities absolutely played their part be that from a player acquisition standpoint to basically doing the job it was intended to do and making the squad as fit as possible.

I didn’t compare them. I mentioned that what was popular before doesn’t really mean it’s relevant today.
Bury won the FA Cup twice back before the war too, as did Clapham Rovers and Old Etonians.
Would Bury swap their 2 FA Cups in Victorian times for 2 modern day professional FA Cup wins? You bet they would. There is a reason for that.

That’s an easy answer, not a chance. It isn’t even a contest.

Isn’t it just a lot of Welsh Cups and a trophy almost 100 years ago?
Come on now, being biased is all well and good but I do think some on here need to get real. Ask Man City if they would swap their Premier League title in 2017 for winning the old first division in 1920. Let me know what they say

Just like all people from Swansea you can’t admit how jealous you are of Cardiff because of a inferiority complex. Keep try to convince yourself the facts are their for all to see![]()

A trophy that many clubs only dream of winning even yours!![]()
As for man c back in 1920 it was a big thing for them why compare? Your trouble is same as all your friends down west that both clubs history only started 8 yrs ago when you entered premier league anything before then didn't exist as far as your concerned because it makes you feel better

So again, ask any Swans fan if they would swap 7 years of PL football for 13 years of Division 1 football 60 years ago and see what they say.
That’s the problem, you are equating them to the same value and they just aren’t in the same realm.
Look at the interest our time has generated globally. Do you really think people across the world are taking note of Cardiff because they won some Welsh Cups and won the FA Cup almost 100 years ago? Be honest with yourself.

They’ve spent less time at the top table than us despite the 7 seasons we never hear the end of, most of which their own fans hated as they battled relegation every year. Take away the other blip in 1980 and what’s left? 60 seasons in league 1? Truly amazing and a record crowd of less than we had last season.....
