Those who went today will obviously be able to give a more accurate opinion, but I don't think Slade did too much wrong today. Everyone will take the easy option of slagging off Slade but at the end of the day, it's really down to the players. No excuse for our players not to be able to see out a 1-0 lead with an extra man. Disgraceful!

Constructive criticism should not be confused with 'slagging off', I didn't go to the game today either but I was watching the stats online via bet365, check them yourself below...

How can this be against a 10 man team? Obviously something isn't working!

We were awful second half but how we can go from supposedly looking good first half to playing awful second half with the same players and then Slade having to be forced to make a defensive substitution on 69 minutes to bolster the midfield when we had a player extra is absolutely baffling. Unfortunately, our current squad contains players who don't have the correct mentality. A few of our players probably thought the hard work was done first half and they just had to simply "turn up" for the second half with the extra man to win the game.

Slade can do very little about the mind-set of certain players in a squad he's inherited. It seems Kenwyne Jones went back to his lazy self second half but who can Slade put on to replace him apart from the even more lazy Macheda? January will be interesting to see if Slade can sort this mess he's inherited out and I still believe it's unfair to judge Slade until he can bring in his own players.

But he is the manager and at the end of the day if the player are not working hard enough they shouldn't be picked week in week out, please remind me when did Le Fondre last score ? It's crap football to watch, and I honestly believe even given the January transfer window Slade is out of his depth. But lets see..
