I think Tonteg sometimes thinks City players are better than they actually are, not so long back he stated that we had the England defence of the future, even though we conceded almost 100 goals and finished bottom. I apologise for correctly stating that as soon as Malky got sacked, we would get relegated. Why have you brought Malky into this?

Mark, if I was optimistic, I wouldn't be saying we will fail to challenge for promotion next season. But I really do think Mutch has all the attributes to be a top Premiership midfielder, so I'm delighted he's staying. Let's try and get back on topic and debate his strengths and weaknesses:

I can see us with two sitting midfielders Whitts/Eikrem/Gunnarson maybe Ralls with 3 attacking midfield behind a striker. Pretty similar to the Bayern / German way.

£2~3 million with a few clauses appears fair.
