It may be said that most Cardiff fans are not from Cardiff but the valleys.

I certainly haven't heard that, and it is definately not my experience at all.

Although I'm sure there are many City fans who do come down from the valleys.

My hometown club is Llandeilo FC or Carmarthen Town at a push

Played for them both and thats as far as the affiliation goes. Ive been a Swansea fan since I was 7 years old. and have lived half of my life since then in Cardiff which i now class as my hometown as my homes as well as business is still there.

Llandeilo is a nice part of the country, the other half's family are from that neck of the world.

Not really, i dont consider anywhere else other than cardiff as my home. Although Brisbane is catching up fast the football here is shite.

But yes, Llandeilo is a lovely town.

I know this is going completely off the thread but if you've got homes and a business in Cardiff, are you going to live in Oz for good or are you planning to come back home? If you don't mind me asking? Genuinely interested

I have a business and homes here too, there is actually less financial ties in Wales so that isnt a factor. I cant imagine ever settling permanently im the UK again, weird thought really. Next year we leave to live in Canada for a year and will then weigh up our options. We will probably sell both business and property in the UK and maybe (hopefully) retire back here in Australia in a few years time.

I dont think anybody actually thinks that if im being honest, they just say it because by admitting it ruins the game. Ive posted enough proof over the last 12 months alone to knock even the most nagging doubts on the head, even a private tennis session with Maria Sharapova

I believe they are called Llandeilo Town A.F.C, but anyone can make a mistake including a hometown boy.
