Not glad at all but the writing was on the wall when tan acted the way he did and I would be careful about labelling malky if I was you.

I am not labeling him as anything, he was a nice man but put out this facade that he truly cared about the fans. He didn't really, he used us as a pawn to get to Tan.

You have labelled Malky by calling him an effing crook so don't come the innocent Malky did care about the fans a lot more than ole or tan that's for sure.

This is the exact reason why the anti-mackay brigade have been so aggressive in the past few days. There is a very good chance we are going down so they get extremely defensive before the inevitable. The transfer dealings of mackay back having 5 plus page threads, his name dragged through the mud once again. Nothing said by them about the fact Solksjaer has had some very poor games at the helm, just drum home "it was mackays fault".

It is pathetic how much we have separated as a fanbase.

I take no pride in the fact we may be relegated, whereas you would have been mincing about with the anti-mackays dancing in the streets if we stayed up. The first thing you would post is, "Soooooooo glad mackay was sacked, what a c**t".

Fact is I hope we stay up under solksjaer, I like the guy. Shame the same can't be said about you and a certain Scotsman. Look at it from both sides for once.

Can understand that, he milked us dry of 50 million and I can't believe how fans defend him and speak of him so highly, refuse to give him all the praise, only a bit of a praise just for milking us dry.

I can't believe this thread is allowed on here. Absolutely disgusting that some of our "fans" are setting upon a man who has firstly lost his job and secondly is a club legend who delivered top flight football for the first time in 54 years.

Proof please? Or is this yet another assumption from the anti Malky brigade? Love the fact the anti Malky lot are still criticising Malky's spending, despite him managing to continuously keep us above the relegation zone with these signings.

Ah the old "we were above the relegation zone".

Yeah, by 1 point and after 18 games.

Arsenal were top after 18 games, they didnt change their manager, they will finish 3 places worse off.

As you were.

So many uneducated and misinformed views in this thread it's hilarious. "I'm right, you're wrong" blah blah blah.

No one person is guilty for us going down. Malky spent poorly, Tan meddled and delegated terribly, the players have under-performed big time and Ole has failed to even keep things going as they were... if anything, he's made us worse. There's a few dozen people who can portion blame for us getting relegated so any thread that condemns one of them and singles them out is clearly just biased with a motive.

Tan delegating the spending of 40m to Malky & Shady was a terrible delegation. I agree.

No offence but you dont even go to the games so keep your beak out

No offence but show some respect to other people's views. You don't have to be at every home game to see where the problems lie. It's f*cking obvious. Going to every home game clearly hasn't helped others form unbiased and sensible opinions.

Proof, transfers. Because spending 50 million and only got our head above water despite getting creamed in 30 minutes v Southampton.

It's almost if supporters are happy he milked our club dry of 50 million, how delusional can you be.

Re: Malky Mackay

What is done on the pitch is where it counts and we have failed all season at that. The squad is good enough.

Doesn't matter how much money was spent, we have a squad that should be doing better. That comes down to tactics rather than transfers.

no we don't have a squad that is good enough we probably have 5 premier league standard players how can we compete if we don't have players that are good enough

Re: Malky Mackay

Wed Apr 30, 2014 12:18 pm

Nope, we have a much better squad than Palace, WBA, Fulham, Norwich, possibly Stoke.

The players are good enough, the managers over the season haven't organised or motivated them properly.

For 40m we spent we SHOULD have a better squad than the likes of Palace.

Unfortunately we dont.

What I mean, is that the value of the transfers doesn't influence the fact the managers have failed.

He may have spent the money badly, but the players should be doing better. Playing badly with poor management has left you calling them poor transfers, when it is the managers that should take responsibility for not getting the players to perform.
