Which is why I said initially any bungs would surely be to Moody and not Malky. Moody was the one that brokered the deals and not Malky.

But Malky would have had final say. If he asked Moody "why are we paying x amount a week on this guy" or they would do it together.

Again, Im going to stress that this is hypothetical and no such bungs or transfer irregularities happened. (Unless you count Acorn as a total irregularity, him evrn posing as a footballet should be questioned)

Malky was not part of the negotiation process of the players contracts or the fee to the club. Being in the loop and being party to negotiations are vastly different things.

He had a say on whether the deal negotiated should go through or not, but he was not party to negotiations of amounts. Any question of "bungs" would surely be aimed at Moody and not Malky.

Many years back, managers were often involved with players wages, contracts, terms of employment etc. However, with the introduction of agents, the massive amount of money being pumped into the game, the complexity of employment law and contracts, managers became less involved as they had insufficient knowledge to deal with these matters. I was involved in finance (which included Cardiff City) for many years, and players contracts became an issue for club finance experts, solicitors and agents rather than coaches.
While I have no inside knowledge or contacts now, and can only guess what may have happened, I would be surprised if any managers have any major input as far as players contracts are concerned. I doubt whether they would have the time or expertise, and are there mainly to concentrate on the playing side of things rather than working on employment terms and conditions. This is just an opinion based on my involvement quite a while back.

The manager, already highly paid, wouldn't want his work hampered for the sake of a bung. Malky had a large survival bonus waiting on survival. I refuse to believe he would be the subject of such goings on, or any premier league manager in this day and age for that matter.

i know, i have said all along that there was no bung taken by Moody or Malky. The players called him Milky due to Malky wanting a cut of their sponshorship deals. Nothing to do with transfers.

Im not evading anything Martyn, as usual im here for any line of questioning. I do however ask for a question to be well constructed rather than vague and broad as you have a habit of taking an answer and changing its meaning or indeed deciding to clarify it after an answer is given to of course then give a different meaning to the answer (litigants we call them in the business). Clarity is everything

Now then lets get back to what you have said here. Where have I said I knew "detailed" knowledge. Detailed would mean such things as exact figures and personal agreements id imagine so thats a key phrase there isnt it.... so surely it wouldnt have been made up by yourself now would it?

As to your once again, vague and broad question.... Which "transfer dealings" specifically are you referring to?
